Jaclyn J. Kurth joined Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. as an associate attorney in 2021. She concentrates her legal practice on cases involving catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice, and nursing home negligence.Before being named an associate attorney, Ms. Kurth worked as a law clerk at the firm for 3 years. As a law clerk, she worked on numerous high-profile cases and trials, including assisting a trial team that obtained a $3 million wrongful death verdict in rural Illinois. Ms. Kurth was also part of a legal team that earned a record-setting $4.5 million settlement in Walworth County, Wisconsin, for a plaintiff who suffered catastrophic injuries in a school bus collision.Ms. Kurth received her Juris Doctor from UIC John Marshall Law School in 2020 with magna cum laude honors. During law school, Ms. Kurth was on Moot Court Honors Council and worked as a Staff Editor for The John Marshall Law Review. In 2020, Ms. Kurth authored an article, “Sufficiently in Conflict: The Reservation of Illinois Rule of Evidence 407,” published in The John Marshall Law Review.Ms. Kurth received her bachelor’s degree in English from Carroll University in 2017. Upon graduation from college, she earned the Gordon Folsom English Award.Ms. Kurth belongs to several national, state, and local legal organizations, including the Lake County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Cook County Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the McHenry County Bar, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
