From November 2017 to December 2019, I served as the chief prosecutor (Commonwealth's Attorney) for Greene County, Virginia. I prosecuted crimes ranging from traffic violations to major felonies, and assisted state and local law enforcement with their investigations. From 2014-2017, I built a practice holding government accountable for its actions. I represented citizens' groups and individual plaintiffs in litigation under the federal Freedom of Information Act as well as state analogue statutes in courts nationwide.
