I suffered a fractured humerous in February 2020. I slipped on ice at King soopers. My injury prevented me from working.I knew that I was going to need some legal assistance to try and recover my financial losses, which were getting larger every day.I called MINTZ law firm, and I sent some pictures of the scene where I fell.My case was accepted, and Matthew Hamblin, began working on my behalf. He was NEVER more than ONE text away.He took the time to explain the legal process and made sure that I understood what was going on,every step of the way. Matt, was ALWAYS professional, and knowledgeable.and his patience, and kindness were so comforting, and very much needed.Matt, was able to settle my case for more than I even dared to hope.I am so happy that Matt handled my case and did such a great job for me. I am forever thankful to Matt Hamblin, and Mintz law firm. Sincerely, Gina Morgan
At first, I was a little worried when my case was transferred from the attorney I was working with to Matt. I thought this would be a sign that the firm wasn't or didn't know what they were doing. However, Matt was straight forward and explained to me his resume which gave me some relief. The first offer from the insurance company was low and Matt did a counteroffer, and then another. He got me what I felt we could get without having to go to court. He does great work. I would recommend him.
We needed help with a serious claim against our insurance company; we were in the right, as a lengthy DORA report documented. Matt kept blaming his lack of action and progress on our case on us (we should have come to him sooner) or his boss (lots of sighing and eye rolling). When he did submit drafted documents, they were riddled with errors: grammar, spelling, even getting our names and critical dates wrong. Then - less than 2 weeks before our scheduled mediation and a month before we became potentially homeless - he walked out of the office and did not return. He left over 4,000 unorganized documents about our case for some poor new-hire to try to sort out in about a week. Not surprising, we were dissatisfied with the outcome of our mediation. Several other lawyers left that firm, so it may not have been a great place to work, but he made his problem our problem.
