Over the past five years. I have struggled in the midst of a child custody and support case. Prior to meeting Mr.Matthew Faler. I had hired four previous attorneys all four previous attorneys were quick to take my money. Slow to further my cause or give me results. But again, always quick to take my money. During my initial conversation with Mr.Faler I was struck by the fact that he was very direct, straightforward and honest and money was not the first topic of conversation. My goals, and what I wanted to accomplish was…. I was stunned. Although I paid Mr.Faler, a retainer. I have never at any point been unhappy with his professionalism promptness or thoughtfulness I would recommend Mr. Faler. To my mother if she needed an attorney, and I recommend Mr. Faler with the absolute highest recommendation. Mr. Faler is in my opinion, very professional, results oriented, and most of all thoughtful and caring about his clients. Mr. Faler is someone you would want to have on your side. Signed, Rob

There is a lot that went wrong with the handling of my case but in summary, These are the main items that matter: 1. When it got heated with one of the opposing debtors attorneys Matthew backed down and did not fight for me. In fact he withdrew or cancelled a recorded motion in which I prevailed on because the opposing attorney was making outlandish threats, even though I was 100% in the right and he had filed correctly and had nothing to worry about. 2. Second he would only return one call or email for every 5 or 7 I sent. He was basically invisible and hard to reach throughout the whole process. 3. Third He did not finish my case for me. I had to take the reins and do the final negotiating with the legal department of the mortgage company to have them finally accept my offer regarding a piece of property. 4. And finally, when it was discovered later there was a lien on my primary residence that had not been dealt with during the initial BK process, when i contacted him, he took a week to get back to me, said he would handle it, then just stopped taking my calls or responding to any emails. So he essentially refused to handle it for me. He just avoided my calls and emails and i had to hire another attorney to take care of the final motion to remove that lien.
