Matthew really pulled my assets out of the fire after I made the mistake of filing Chap. 7 myself. I used outdated exemptions and the trustee filed a petition to disallow the exemptions for all my assets. Matthew quickly took care of it and now the trustee has decided not to go after anything. Many thanks to Matthew!
Matt was kind, compassionate and professional. He was able to answer all of my questions and make me feel more at ease about the inherently daunting process of filing for bankruptcy. Because of Matt's help, I am finally free from the financial prison that I was living in. Thanks for everything Matt! :)
Matthew Casper helped me file bankruptcy. He and his staff took care of everything. He was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the whole process. I can breath again and go on with my life
I did my research on who to assist me. It paid off. Mathew and his crew did Awesome. Kept me updated and reminded me on deadlines.
You couldn't ask for a better bankruptcy attorney than Matt Casper of Olson daines law group. Polite and professional throughout the whole process. Removed a lot of the stress I had with my chapter 7. I highly recommend . Thx Matt! -Brian
I was completely drowning in debt and being garnished so much each paycheck that I couldn't afford anything, not even a place to rent. I was lost and thought it was hopeless. I was referred to Matthew Casper to file bankruptcy and he took care of everything! He was knowledgeable, professional, and available whenever I needed help or had a question. Now I'm out of debt and can regain my independence! I absolutely recommend him!
Matt helped me with my Chapter 13 case. I remember being very nervous getting ready to meet with him for the first time. He put my mind at ease and explained the whole process in simple terms that I could understand and relate to. He and his staff were amazing the whole way through. I found that they were easy to get a hold of and answered my emails and phone calls in a very timely fashion over the course of my Chapter 13 which was important to me. Their hard work and being on top of things resulted in a successful completion of my Chapter 13 bankruptcy case. I would highly recommend him and feel very lucky that he was my attorney. I definitely owe him and his staff a BIG thank you!
Matt is exceptional. He is worked quickly and accurately to bring my case to a close in a positive way.
Matthew Casper of Olsen Daines provided good legal representation for our Chapter 13. His guidance and support over the 4 years was excellent. The support service of his paralegal and office was "adequate". I had to ride hard to make sure things were done in a timely manner, and often waited a week or more for answers to questions and concerns, primarily from the paralegal. After discharge from our Chapter 13, the party was quickly quieted as we began to receive notices from State and IRS that we STILL OWED FEES AND CHARGES FROM 6 YEARS PRIOR. This was a complete surprise--no warning, no consultation once the discharge was completed. First we saw a large bill from our state, and when we questioned it , the response was " oh yeah, that can happen, and don't be surprised if you see one from the IRS." So, 60 days after discharge, we were blindsided by over $2700 in fees and charges that were "not discharged"- or discussed in any format. Mr. Casper recommended we set up a payment plan right away, so we are back sending hundreds of dollars a paycheck to the taxman, for a debt that has gathered interest for 6 years. Also, the firm gives each completed discharge a "free" credit rebuilding class. The class appeared legit except for two things: 1)The recommendation was that my spouse and I immediately open up 3 major credit cards EACH. ( Thats 6 secured credit cards) This seemed abit overkill to me, especially since each card needs secured funds behind it. We were afraid to follow that, consulted my bank, and discovered we really only need one jointly owned card to rebuild our credit. 2) The credit cards the "free" course recommended began to flood my mailbox within days of signing up for the course. I provided feedback to Olsen Daines on this issue directly, and they seemed to be grateful for the feedback. I would not recommend the course after discharge, go see your bank rep and work with them. I am outside of Portland Or, and did most of our consults via phone or video conference call to Medford or Salem. The technology for video was crisp and easy.
