While in law school, she worked for two years as a law clerk at an insurance subrogation firm in Washington D.C., interned at a Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court in Alexandria, VA, and worked as a legal intern in the Office of Legal Affairs at the Legal Services Corporation.Witzel graduated from The George Washington University Law School with a Juris Doctor in 2014. While in law school, she served as executive articles editor on the student editorial board of the American Intellectual Property Law Association Quartlery Journal, wrote a note on trade secrets, and studied copyright law. She graduated cum laude with a Bacehlor of Arts from George Wythe University in 2010.
