About

Though born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin, I graduated from Washington & Lee, School of Law, in Lexington, Virginia, and practised law in Virginia for ten years.  I am still an Associate Member of the Virginia State Bar in good standing.  When I moved back to Wisconsin, I took and passed the bar exam in 2009 and have practised law in Wisconsin since that time.  My office is conveniently located in Burlington so that I can take cases in Racine, Kenosha, and Walworth Counties.  I enjoy listening to my clients needs and helping them navigate through life's tough situations, especially in the family law arena.

Mine was a grandparent's visitation rights case - not typically granted in Wisconsin unless there is a death involved. My case didn't fit "typical" fashion. Attorney Poletti (Mary) did a fantastic job for me. As an attorney, she's well educated, well informed and she knows the correct interpretation of the laws - and because she had informed me of what I needed to show to the court, I was granted temporary grandparent's visitation rights. Mary is also very understanding, fair, honest and up front with the facts. I knew when I began the process that it was probably not going to be a win/win situation for me - however, I gained an extra year with my granddaughter and I learned a couple of priceless lessons. If you are seeking the best attorney in Wisconsin's Family Court - you can stop now - you've found her!
