As a principal in the Estate Planning law firm of Falk, Cornell & Associates, LLP, Mary Falk devotes herself to practicing law with integrity and sincerity, providing her clients with the type of quality legal service she herself would seek from an attorney. Her focus on estate planning stems from her firm belief in protecting her clients and their families from the devastating effects that often accompany disability and death.  Mary first decided she would pursue a career in law when she was still a high school student. Upon receiving her Juris Doctor, she practiced with a firm in San Jose for eight years, concentrating in estate planning, real estate and business. Part of Mary’s enjoyment in practicing estate planning law comes from her love of tax law. As an estate planning attorney she can assist clients with their tax-related issues without limiting herself solely to tax law.Mary first went out on her own in 1996, and joined forces shortly thereafter with Daniel Cornell, as attorney she had worked closely with for eight years, to form Falk, Cornell & Associates, LLP. Falk, Cornell & Associates, LLP concentrates on estate planning law exclusively.Mary is a Certified Legal Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate law. She is a member of the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust section of the Santa Clara County Bar Association and the San Mateo County Bar Association. She is a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys.Mary is coauthor of the books, “A Will is Not Enough in California.” and “Guiding Those Left Behind In California”.
