How many attorneys will give you there cell phone number? Let you call them any time of the day, night or weekend? Respond to emergencies at the drop of a hat? Then take your ex to the cleaners as you sit back and watch him fold like a cheap suit!?! That is what Attorney Dotson did for me!!!! And it did not come cheap! Once my retainer was used up...more I brought in for him to continue to help me!! No, I could not always get him everytime I called; but, not everyone gets me everytime that I get a phone call either.....I seriously get confused about the post and how anyone is allowed to just post anything they want to on the internet....he did good by me and I refer all my friends from speeding tickets to custody, he is your man!!!! I thank him from the bottom of my heart for all he has done for me!!! He got me my kids, child support, and I love when the new wife has to cut my alimony checks each month....ahhhhhh...revenge is so sweet....Raleigh handles my support now....Review guidlines state do not post hostile or insulting content....unsupported accusations....hummmmmm looks like there are some angry ex's on the internet....The wrath of Attorney Dotson need I say more!!!

Ok so he did not call me back everytime, I did not want to get charged for a phone call, text, etc. if nothing was going on I am waaayyyyy toooo old for that I have family to hold my hands. When reading the negative posts, makes you wonder how much he really pissed of the other party in the action just sayn......People need to grow up...the State is over budget, not enough judge's etc......but ohhhhh blame the attorney....If you can't afford the attorney you love, love the one you can afford....and he was not cheap but worth every dime....

He did a wonderful job with my divorce and separation. The process is slow and now that it is all said and done, I understand why. Mr. Dotson did a fantastic job and I recommend him to all my friends, family and acquaintances. I do not believe the bad reviews...they are so very different than my experience working with him.

I must admit Mr. Dotson is a very busy man, but he is the best attorney that I have ever done business with. My last divorce, not being my first rodeo, I had a fairly good idea of the fees to expect and knew better than to run up my own fees with a bunch of unnecessary calls and emails. I took all of my information in when I first met with Mr. Dotson, we discussed my case and he or someone from his office called me when they needed further information from me. My bill at the end was nearly $8000.00 which I thought very reasonable compared to my first attorney on this matter. I can't even bad mouth him as I picked an attorney that did not specialize in domestic matters. In the door I paid $2500, when I in effect "fired" him (the first attorney in this particular matter) there had been NO court documents filed so the only thing I received back were letters between attorneys and a copy of the fee agreement that I signed acknowledging that no initial moneys paid would be refunded. Mr. Dotson then took my case worked with me on payment and gave my ex a good old fashioned spanking plus sued him for the remainder of the attorney fees owed. I wonder if some people understand the process? I also wonder if they consider that when you are paying someone to look after your best interest perhaps you need to step back and let them handle it. NO, the process was not quick and NO he never called unless he needed something from me, but he did an excellent job for me. The bad reviews...I think are bogus, I went from my first attorney offering to settle at $2500.00 and 2 years at $200 per month and ended up with $90,000.00. I think that was a damn good job. Thank you Mr. Dotson

Wow, so confused with all of these negative reviews but you know, I paid thousands of dollars as well and I truly got my monies worth and more and did not complain when I had to pay more money, my children were worth it. Yes, at times he was difficult to get in touch with but in the end, the result is what counts! These kind of reviews should be banned as it is not fair to attack someone's livelihood and only seeing one side of the story. And you know, since when is having a busy attorney bad thing, would anyone like to have an attorney who has not clients? Gesh...you get what you pay for! When the retainer runs out, get ready, you got to pay more! I know I do not work for free and do not expect anyone else to when my fees run out. Custody matters are expensive and you get what you pay for!

He was a wonderful attorney, kind, caring, and compassionate about my case. He provided a wonderful result, at times it was hard to get in touch with him but when my case got to Court, he rocked!!!! He worked with me with payments and got me a favorable settlement monetarily as well as my custody of my children in place. In looking for an attorney, there is no one else I would ever use!!!

I got a paraphenila charge in July of 2017 and he insisted on contiuances because we were waiting on the right judge. Any judge could have signed me up for the rehab class and I could've been done with this long ago. I have never personally even spoken to him, only his receptionist who seems forgetful herself. Overall a bad law firm definetly wouldn't reccommend.

Hired him for my divorce case and just like many of you said he never returned calls, forgot to inform me that I was supose to be in court, I just happen to walk in his office to pay him some money and he was like I will see you in the morning and this was at 3 in the evening, no time to let my work prepare for me to be gone.. I was sitting in his office one day and over heard him talking to another young soon to be attorney and he said "yeah most of my clients are a bunch of low lifes" to this day I should have put him in his place but I kept my mouth shut..
