I found her to be very honest and truthful. Her Integrity was a breath of fresh air. However she declined us as clients due to not being able to provide what we are asking for. I appreciate her integrity. It was a breath of fresh air even if she did not tell me what I wanted to hear. I appreciate her honesty.
Above all, our birth mom felt safe, comfortable and confident under this attorneys care. Marsha Woodruff was on top of the medical and legal needs for birth mom, baby and adoptive parents. I would recommend her to others.
As a birthmother, I found Marty to be one of the most straightforward, non-judgemental, caring individuals I have ever met. I would certainly recommend her to fellow birthmothers because she is not only knowledgeable about the adoption process, she is knowledgeable about the physical and emotional demands of pregnancy. From the first moment I spoke to Marty, I felt how passionate she was about providing the best experience possible for birthmothers. She makes herself available anytime day or night, and creates a safe environment in which a birthmother can discuss her deepest qualms and fears of the adoption process. I would recommend Marty to any birthmother searching for an attorney who is confidential, professional, and caring. She also happens to have a great sense of humor and can bring light to any situation.
she placed my baby for adoption in a loving and thoughtful way. She was funny and smart and got me ready for hard things. I knew what to expect and she was at some of the doctor visits and was with me throughout labor and delivery. She made me proud of my decision and we stay in touch even today.
We hired Marti initially to facilitate an adoption with a potential birth mom. The birth mom didn't speak English, and during our first meeting, all the red flags went off for us. Marti didn't provide an interpreter, so we had no idea how the birth mom felt about us or what was happening. We later discovered that specific details Marti included in our contract were completely false, including the expected date of birth and gender of the child. We were frantic trying to correct the errors and make adjustments in time, as well as confirm the birth mom was even comfortable placing her child with us. We ended up firing Marti and hiring a new attorney, and we were very glad we did.
