I recently worked with Ms. Moore on a real-estate transaction. I am a first time home buyer and bombarded Ms. Moore with questions, she was so understanding and responsive to all of my questions and concerns. Ms. Moore is very knowledgeable and helped me avoid several traps, by protecting me through her wording in the contract. Her wording even protected me after closing when the seller tried to renege on agreed upon repairs. I am most grateful to Ms. Moore and can honestly say you would do yourself a disservice not to use her.
I retained this lawyer to handle a partition based on a referral. She assured me she was qualified to handle my case, and would zealously advocate on my behalf. She then assigned it to an inexperienced and equally incompetent junior associate with little or no supervision. She did not supervise or hold him accountable, nor did she provide status updates. I had to request conferences to get information and realized they were not in alignment on strategy and had to put everything in writing. Realizing my chances at prevailing were diminishing, I invited a capable third party to assist me in facilitating the discussions. I received invoices with lots of busy work and ended up paying more money to the other party than was initially requested. Beware of this attorney if you want your case handled with professionalism and grace, and by someone who would vigorously defend your interests.
