When I fell behind paying the interest on my debt, I knew it was time to explore alternate avenues of relief. I finally caved filed Chapter 7 last year, and I never thought the bankruptcy process could go so smoothly. It seemed like he was pretty busy so communication was difficult at times – but nothing went wrong and I couldn’t be happier to finally have it all behind me.
Mark has some issues in profetionalism that needs to be addressed. We are currently using him for a chap 13 and wish we had not. Be is rude, and has lack of any communication skills. I believe he has screwed up our case and don't even know how to go about changing attorneys now. I know he screwed up our kids case big time causing them all kinds of problems at the moment. I prefer not to post with my name since I'm almost sure this attorney would retaliate. Sad to have to hide from an attorney.
I paid a $500 deposit and decided to lose the money rather than have this person continue with my case. Communication is very poor and he does not like answering questions. Acted disgusted and made you feel so much like an idiot with each question that I just stopped.
The only time you see this guy is when you first meet with him and sign on the dotted line. As others have said, you will not be able to ever reach him personally after the case is filed, staff is rude and unresponsive as well. We also had deadlines missed, left numerous messages and email with no response and ultimately had to beg the trustees office to help us. We missed out on getting our filing amended before discharge because we could not ever get a call back from anyone. We did not do our due diligence before hiring Lazzo. Let our mistake be a lesson to you.
We have had repeated mistakes made in our Chapter 13. Deadlines were missed and our case nearly gets dismissed right off the bat due to their oversight, then vital information is never communicated to us that resulted in a potential repossession of a vehicle that was supposed to be paid in our plan. Then when confronted with their mistakes, we are blamed for it. That is just negligent and unacceptable treatment. All his clients are to him are case numbers and his staff isn't much better.
He will take your money and act like he will be there to help you, but once he has the money, try to get a hold of him on the phone, won't happen. Called every day for three weeks straight left a message every time not once did I get a call back. Finally called and acted like I was looking for an attorney and lo and behold guess who took the phone call. When you do meet him seems like the only thing he is interested in is singing to you...ugh. Then when you tell him how you want things done, as he is a bankruptcy lawyer, he ignores what you say and doesn't inform the trustee of your wishes. Would not recommend him to anyone!!!!!!!
