So I hired Mark for my Workmans comp case. I’m a generally kind of high strung nervous person and hiring him for what turned out to be the worst 3 years of my life. That was a mistake. He’s not personable which is fine for a lawyer I want to fight for me. But I spent most of my time talking to his assistant— who consistently failed to notify me of important things, didn’t explain anything to me and when I asked she acted like I was the most annoying person in the world. The final straw came at a lump sum hearing when mark had told the opposing side that we could settle The whole case permnantly but I told Him their offer was not gonna fly. I had to hear from opposing counsel that my case had allegedly been settled? Excuse me? This after I explicitly said that I didn’t want to even answer the settlement question until After I saw what the commissioner did. So this lawyer didn’t read my email and just did what he wanted to do as if my wishes weren’t a factor. I’ve never felt so disrespected by someone that I employed—until this happened. When I sent an email to his assistant to make it clear that I had no interest in settling yet she accidentally replied to me but the message was for mark, it said “can we please dump him” So minutes before I have To speak to the commissioner this person ruined my day and composure and I suddenly felt like my lawyers weren’t behind me and no longer had my best interest in mind. If I had known what was going to happen I would have hired a lawyer from A smaller firm that actually seemed to Care much. If I was rating mark alone I’m sure he’s good at his job. But a lawyer is only as good as his staff when it comes to day to day communication etc. and while I was hoping to have a lawyer for life when I found mark— I now will take my Business elsewhere and you should too.
I had no problems with anything till I asked him questions. He was rude and arrogant. Was told by many people in the office go find another lawyer if u don't like our services. This place has no respect. I've been calling emailing my lawyer or his staff for over a week now and they still have not responded to me in anyway. The women in the front are lazy don't expect them to do much other then answer a phone.

So I hired Mark for my Workmans comp case. I’m a generally kind of high strung nervous person and hiring him for what turned out to be the worst 3 years of my life. That was a mistake.
