Mark H. Sackstein is the managing partner of the prominent Nassau County, New York Personal Injury Law Firm Sackstein Sackstein & Lee, LLP. Mr. Sackstein received his Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. He furthered his education at New York University where he received his Master of Laws (in taxation) degree. He was admitted to the New York State bar in 1984 and is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association. He also is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.While in law school, Mr. Sackstein gained valuable experience as a judicial intern for Supreme Court Justice Julius Hellenbrand in Kings County. After graduation from New York University, he built on that experience by working for a midtown law firm specializing in commercial litigation, tax, estates and pensions. He then joined Sackstein Sackstein & Lee, LLP, which he helped develop into a renowned personal injury firm.Mr. Sackstein understands the needs of those injured and works diligently to protect their rights. His clients find him knowledgeable, accessible and attentive. As managing partner, he leads by example and has developed a professional staff with the same characteristics.As a key member of our team of personal injury lawyers, Mr. Sackstein also has been instrumental in a number of successful verdicts and settlements. Throughout his career, he has negotiated and settled thousands of personal injury cases and obtained many multimillion dollar settlements. In 2007, he obtained a $10 million verdict for a pedestrian who was seriously injured by an automobile.
