Mark took a family law case for my family and he stated on several occasions that he was filing an emergency motion for custody for my son to see his child. Mark did not even petition the court for visitation or paternity as he stated he would be doing. After six weeks of anxiously waiting for a court date I spoke to Mark and he revealed that he had never filed anything with the courts from the time we retained him to my last conversation with him six weeks later. This was a big blow to my son and myself as we are in distress over not having rights to see my son's baby. Mark did given me my entire retainer back which was good but in a matter of six weeks we could have already had a court date. If Mark knew he was too busy or he was not experienced in family law he should have had the integrity to say so instead of just saying he was filing petitions. I think he might be better in matters regarding Bankruptcy as my son's EAP referred us to Mark which was a big mistake. Now I am left looking for another attorney and I feel helpless.
