About
Mark Anthony Rafidi was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. He has practiced law in nearly every county throughout the State of Ohio. He is also licensed and has practiced law in the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio. Mark is the Managing Partner and Founder of Rafidi, Pallante & Melewski, LLC (fka Amendolara & Rafidi, LLC), an Ohio based, multi office boutique law firm. His practice now concentrates on Business Consulting, Corporate Law and Personal Injury Law. Mark has negotiated and drafted multi-million dollar contracts for his business clients and has successfully achieved multi-million dollar settlements/awards for his personal injury clients. Mark graduated summa cum laude (with highest honors) with a BBA from Ohio University in 1995 with a double major in Business Pre-Law and Marketing. While at Ohio University, Mark also completed the full course range of study in Insurance and Real Estate with perfect 4.0 GPAs. Mark went on to law school attending the University of Toledo College of Law in 1995. Although his legal career formally started in 1998 after successfully passing the Ohio Bar Exam, he has been involved in the legal world since 1993, clerking and assisting lawyers in the field during his studies. Mark not only advises clients in the national and international business world but has also invested, owned, and operated numerous businesses in the retail, real estate, restaurant, liquor, and franchise industries. Mark is an avid world traveler and has visited over 40 different countries. His travels and business acumen have also led him to become an international real estate investor and developer. His legal career has also led him to become a consultant in the health care industry as a managing member of a Physician Consulting Group. Mark is also a staunch advocate for his personal injury clients. He has represented thousands of injured victims involving automobile, motorcycle, truck, ATV, slip and fall, medical malpractice, wrongful death, premise liability, political subdivision, pedestrian, and bicycle accidents. We first contacted Rafidi, Pallante & Melewski about a car accident we were involved with. The staff was friendly and courteous, and both Mark and Ryan were very helpful and patient with us. They made sure that the insurance adjusters did not rush us into settling and were patient while we dealt with doctoring, therapy, eventual surgery, and even worked around all the delays from the Covid-19 virus. Would highly recommend this law office.
After medical bills, we didn’t think there would be anything left for a settlement, but Mark got creative and got us a settlement after all. Great job and I highly recommend.
We worked with Mark now for many years, he even sent an intern to our home since we live so far away and my child that was involved in the case was young and do to the injuries, not too mobile. The intern took take pictures and ask questions, and came out a few times. Mark got us almost 11 times the original amount he thought he would get us and that was after all bills paid. He has been there to answer any questions we've had over the last 13 years at no additional cost and made sure that when my child turned 18 that we knew exactly what to do to retrieve my child's settlement. I was referred to Rafidi's office by my chiropractor. We went to Texas last summer for a family event, and while on our way to the event, we were in a car accident. Considering this was an out of state case, everything was done efficiently and quickly. The other party was not insured, and the owner of the vehicle I was in didn't want to pay my claim. He was able to reach a conclusion that worked for everyone. He answered my questions, which I always have tons, and was patient, friendly and prompt when returning my calls. Made this whole situation less stressful.
