Mark is known for handling numerous high-profile and complicated appeals - an area of practice that requiring unique skills not often associated with the typical trial lawyer. He has written more than 500 state and federal appellate briefs and has won in all five Louisiana appellate courts, the Louisiana Supreme Court, the United States Federal Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He has represented clients in criminal matters, business law, family law, personal injury, community property law, property law, and contract law.Mark has been a chief indigent defender, a judge, and also is an adjunct college instructor of business law.
