After 43 years as a trial lawyer, having tried 150 jury trials and over 1000 contested cases, I am available for mediations and arbitrations.  From 1990-2013, I was lead trial counsel in dozens of complex, high-dollar insurance coverage disputes and trials.  In addition to rankings in Chambers, AV rating in Martindale Hubbell, listing in Best Lawyers in America and Washington DC Super Lawyers, I was selected as a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America.  I have taught evidence and trial practice courses locally and at national meetings.  I am a member of the ABA, FBA (former President of the Maryland Chapter), and each of the state bars where I am admitted.As a mediator, I am prepared to fully understand the complex business relationships involved in my cases, to grasp the significant legal issues in each case, and, most importantly, have vast experience in trials allowing me to advise each party as to trial evidence and the likelihood of success before judge or jury.As an arbitrator (I am listed on the Panel of Arbitrators of the AAA in Arizona) I can be fair and honest to all parties, and will analyze the facts to help reach a timely and just result.I can provide a long list of cases I have led and commercial clients I have represented, upon request.
