I am a trial lawyer with 17 years of experience representing individuals against large corporations, insurance companies, and the government. I have tried over a hundred cases, including trying, and winning, major felony cases, DUI cases, drug cases, and others.  In addition to my criminal practice, I handle personal injury claims, including wrongful death claims, serious accident cases, truck accidents, car accidents, premises liability, and slip and falls.  I have collected millions of dollars for my clients in personal injury cases.  I have represented clients in the District Court, Superior Court, Probate and Family Court, Land Court, Federal District Court, Appeals Court, and Supreme Judicial Court.   Background I graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in European History, and a minor in Mathematics. I worked in law offices in St. Thomas, USVI and the Philadelphia Water Department before attending Villanova Law School, where I was on the Law Review. I graduated fourth in my class, and won the Rev. Joseph Ullman Award for Excellence in Criminal Law. I was also co-editor of the law school newspaper, and member of the board of The Court Jesters. I was a finalist in the Client Counseling Competition.  After two years at Philadelphia's Dilworth Paxson, where I  worked with legends Joe Jacovini, Steve Harmelin, and John Latourette, I came to Boston and formed a partnership with law school classmate Ken Liebman.
