About

Mark is an accomplished trial attorney in construction, construction defect, and professional liability matters. Mark also has extensive experience handling product liability, premises liability, unfair business practices and general litigation matters. He represents clients in both federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies, arbitration panels, and mediators. Before joining Melick & Porter, Mark was most recently an assistant vice president and senior trial attorney for the Zurich Insurance Company for twelve years, where he handled heavy construction, construction defect, employment law, professional liability, product liability, and various tort defense matters. Mark has lectured on insurance defense-related issues for clients, claims professionals, and industry groups including AGC of Massachusetts, Modern Continental, Zurich Insurance Company, and Universal Underwriters Group. Mark is a graduate of the MetroWest Leadership Academy, an organization dedicated to increasing and strengthening a diverse pool of community and business leaders who embrace civic engagement and cross-sector collaboration.  Mark is also a member of the University of Pennsylvania Secondary School Committee.
