Mark was my lawyer for 3 community service readmitt's. Although the first did not go so well (due to miscommunication and no fault if his) the next two he was flawless, and put me at ease in the courtroom, while he executed his negotiation skills with the DA on my case. He was great and I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Mr. Mark Bailey represented me in a legal personal matter that was complex with many road blocks to overcome. The case lasted many years due to the complexity but Mark never gave up. After many court appearances we final got the results we wanted. I have known Mark for over 5 years and I would say if you have a serious legal matter contact him.

There's some good and some bad about this team, Mark Bailey and his paralegal assistant, Ashley. First let's cover the good... these guys are knowledgable and have built a reputation that's well known in the legal community... no one who's gone up against them in court wants to challenge them because they CAN be very hard to beat... but with that said, they have extremely poor communication skills and you may or may not hear from them after a bit. Now to be fair, they followed up on my situation and made sure to stay on top of it should anything have ever come up... which thankfully it didn't... but both Mark and Ashley seemed competent and I liked having a well known powerhouse duo in my corner. the problem is, they don't return calls... and if you end up in jail needing them to respond, that's bad... really bad, these guys are NOT cheap at all and should you need someone who will reliably respond, this is not them. They could be legends in the legal community if they had better communication skills. All in all I gave it three stars... if they were better at communicating, they'd have received 5.

The bad reviews are very true, my brother hired mark for my dad in March and said he should be out by the middle of summer, and he still doesn't even have a court date and they've been giving us the run around. For one we haven't received a SINGLE phone call from Ashley or mark so after a while we started calling, ever since my brother gave them 4,000 and signed those papers they haven't answered or returned ONE phone call. So my aunt, myself and my other brother started calling them a few months ago they started hanging up on him every time he called, won't answer my aunt's calls at all ( I'm assuming they remember her number because she called so much because they kept telling us lies) I called yesterday and I asked if they've heard anything on my dad's case and then she hung up on me so I called her back and it didn't even ring, went straight to voicemail so I decided to use my cousin's phone and she answered and said we won't know anything for 2 weeks. This whole time if we could ever get them to answer she has been telling me and my aunt 2 different things even if we called the same day! In the middle of May I called and she said we will definitely have a court date by June first so I called a couple days after the first and she said we will know in 2 weeks now Everytime I call it's "we won't know anything for 2 weeks" so my aunt went to the office today and the other guy in the office said he hasn't seen them in 2 weeks so either he's trying to lie for them or they're not even trying to do their job. I'm going to college to be a paralegal right now and I promise you she is NOT doing her job correctly these are NOT the type of people you want to hire!!

I wrote a $20,000.00 check and handed it to Mark Bailey. In the next breath he told me how he was going to spend some of that check on his upcoming deep sea fishing vacation. He talked a lot of CRAP and did NOTHING constructive for us. He is the WORST excuse for an attorney I’ve ever come across and not only have I used many attorneys in Oklahoma I worked for one for many years. Not only did he do NOTHING to defend my son he didn’t even show up at my sons last court date when he was being sentenced and I had to call Atkins and Markoff for someone else to appear while my son stood alone in court waiting. I can’t give negative stars so he gets one. Don’t waste your time.

Mark Bailey was arrested two months before my court hearing, and I didn't know ANYTHING about it until I went TO PRISON...He promised me that I would not go to prison, (I was simply a clerk in a store.) Now, all l'm asking for is my property back, and his assistant hung up on me...CANNOT GET ANY RECORDS FROM HIM, OR EVEN MY PROPERTY BACK! HE WAS PAID IN CASH...AND DID NOT DO HIS JOB!!

 Overpaid and underworked. Seemed the only time I would actually get communication from was when it concerned more money. All he cares about is getting more money. Did absolutely nothing to build a case and weaken the prosecution's arguments. Seems as if I did more of the actual legwork and fact digging to make things easier for him to argue but still had little to no success in any of the strategies. In fact, I recall him thinking that my best strategy would be to just enter a blind plea and hope for the best! I was always talking with an associate or an assistant when dealing with this office. As a matter of fact, he only made 3 out of 7 court appearances, including missing my scheduled preliminary hearing with my felony drug case. That's less than %50 dependency! He thought that it was ok to notify me only 2 days prior to my scheduled preliminary hearing, through his secretary, of his inability to be there demanding that I make other arrangements like rescheduling my flight and other travel arrangements or be forced to settle for an associate counsel to appear for him. Traveling from out of state, that was just unexceptable and unfortunately I was forced into settling for the compromised representation from his associate counsel whom I had never even met before. Its hard to imagine she would be up to speed/par with the details of my case to be able to successfully represent my best interests during the preliminary hearing proceedings. So, I was forced to settle with the idea that person now arguing my case, with my life in their hands, most likely never even glanced at my case file until the day of preliminary hearing. I would call his office, he was NEVER THERE or NEVER AVAILABLE at the time, no matter when I would call. I would be assured that I would receive a return call shortly or at the very least that same day but days would pass and I would NEVER get a response! I would call back and the process would repeat. This happened with this office more than once. When I did get in contact with him it was generally because I would call his personal cell phone. And when we did communicate he always made me feel rushed, insignificant, and burdensome. He even hung up the phone on me, not once but twice! Every time leaving me with my questions and concerns unanswered. He would purposely avoid me, my co-defendant, and my co-defendant's counsel's multiple efforts to try to effectively communicate a defense strategy and be all on the "same page." He even had warrants for our arrest issued due to his negligence! Co-defendant's attorney was able to waive a pre-trial appearance for the both of us while he was arguing and insisting that we needed to be there. All he needed to do was communicate with us but between all three of us, NOONE was able to get in touch with him despite our many efforts. He didn't like the idea so he just dodged everyone, went into judge chamber's bright and early and claimed he didn't know where anybody was, why we weren't there, and allowed warrants to be issued for our arrest! All this even after we told his office (because we could never get a hold of him) that the judge had previously waived our required presence. They still insisted that we needed to be there. That's a big deal and a huge mistake to someone who is traveling over 1000 miles every time there is a court date. No compassion to the expenses incurred on our behalf. This man was paid in full to represent me and to have my best interests in mind, yet I found myself more stressed out having to deal with a flakey lawyer who clearly did not have my back or my best interest in mind! I was left with unrest, uneasy feelings throughout every litigation. I was unable to rest assured knowing that this man was going to go to bat for me and my loved ones when he had already proven time and time again that he won't!
