I had been dealing with a case for over a year with it getting nowhere anytime soon. I hired Kathryn. She was the best attorney I could have went with! Went above and beyond, even to a different county, to get the case ended in my favor! I recommend her to anyone and everyone!
After many years of legal disputes regarding child custody with my ex-husband, thousands of dollars spent on attorneys who often didn't do their jobs...I was referred by a friend to Kathryn Yarbrough. From the get-go, she was friendly, professional, and personable. She never never treated me like I was a problem, or an inconvenience. She answered all of my questions and concerns in a timely and professional matter, and made me feel important. I cannot say enough good about the experience I have had with Kathryn, and I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs an outstanding attorney in Williamson County, TN.
When it comes to stressful family situations and the legal system, emotions run high and it is hard for the average person to understand all the terminology and timelines. Kathryn has guided us through three years of custody proceedings in juvenile court, a two day trial in Chancery Court, and the Court of Appeals. She has been dedicated, thorough and a constant source of stability and information. I have heard Judges and others commend her for her thoroughness and preparedness. She is professional and willing to leave no stone unturned in her fight for her client. We will continue to use Kathryn for our legal needs as we prepare to write our Wills in the near future.
Kathryn takes the time to listen and give you the attention your case needs. She returns emails and phone calls and files paperwork in a timely manner. She sent me a monthly statement so I could know where I was on my retainer. She asked detailed questions to be sure we didn't miss a thing that needed addressing. Kathryn quite simply is the real deal...she means what she says and does what she says she will do. She will treat you with respect and understands this is not just your case, it's your life. I trusted her with mine and am forever thankful.
Kathryn was a very professional attorney when dealing with my case. Kathryn cared not only about the case but about my feelings and she related to what I was going through. We had emotional times during the case and she was there to make sure everything went smooth and worked out in my favor. Kathryn will go the extra mile to get the best thing for you. I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND Kathryn to anyone who needs a compassionate, professional, hard working attorney in the area.
You have been warned. Avoid at all costs, otherwise you will be sorry. I’m ending up paying her $2500 for what the child support office could’ve done for free which is write up a parenting plan and adjust the child support amount every month. Any negotiations that were made were purely because of me. Katy actually argued for the other attorney in several instances. I will never forget this experience for as long as I live and will do as much research as possible from now on and speak to as many lawyers as I can before making a decision. It seems these people care nothing about their clients and their needs, but only about getting paid for simple emails and phone calls. Katy even charged me for several of her mistakes. Not to mention she would mess up tons of details that I would then have to correct her on. And then I’m getting charged for those emails. Run the other way!
