About

For over 10 years, Maria DiBlasio Hale has defended the rights and futures of men, women, and children in Orlando, Florida who have been charged with a crime. Her passion to pursue fair trials, dropped charges, and minimized penalties has helped her confidently represent her clients as an Orlando criminal defense lawyer. After graduating from Stetson University College of Law in 1998 with a Juris Doctor (J.D.), Maria went on to become a Prosecutor in Central Florida. Her experience prosecuting those charged with crimes in front of a jury of peers gave Maria another perspective of the criminal justice field. In nearly 50 jury trials, Maria honed her knowledge of prosecution techniques. This included a variety of cases, including those of DUI (Driving under the Influence), Drug Charges, Assault, Battery, Weapons Charges, and other criminal offenses. From here, Maria became a member of the State Attorney DUI Manslaughter Special Prosecution Unit. This role allowed her to complete multiple Advanced DUI training sessions. She was then selected to attend the Florida Prosecution Attorney Association's "Train the Trainer's Program", where she taught new Prosecutors effective DUI prosecution techniques. Maria's role as a teacher was not limited to professional attorney associations. Her passion for molding the next generation of responsible new lawyers and citizens led her to become a coach for several Mock Trial Teams. Maria coached bright young minds in Pinellas Park High School, Stetson University, and most recently at Barry University's Mock Trial Team. Maria Hale continues to defend and educate men and women throughout the state of Florida. She is a partner at Hale, Hale & Jacobson, P.A. where she focuses on cases on criminal defense cases, including DUI in Orlando, Marijuana Possession, other Drug Crimes, Weapons Violations, Juvenile Offenses, Theft, Probation Violation, Violent Crimes and More. Hale, Hale & Jacobson, P.A. is located in Orlando, Florida. Her firm handles cases of criminal defense and personal injury. To schedule a consultation and discuss your legal options, contact Maria D. Hale.

I applied to have a seal on my record, and was denied so I called Ms. Hale. Her motion that was filed in my defense was nothing but amazing. She basically told the judge that she isn’t doing her job by the statute law, which was right, the judge denied my seal based on a case that was relevant to my case. She called out every error made by the judge! She said this case was a no brained at least twice in the motion, it felt great to have someone with authority, tell the court they were wrong. This was the biggest victory I have ever had in my life, and it’s because I hired this lawyer. Altough, after a seal is complete, I wish she would have told me I had to send the order to all background check companies to remove it, because I wouldn’t have a clue about having to do that. I wish all lawyers would guide you to do that after, it only takes a few minutes.

I would never recommend this attorney to anyone. She is just a paper pusher. She is not proactive at all. After all, she is a defense attorney, so I guess that's my fault for hiring her before I actually researched her. If you need defensive help, she might be good. If you are fighting for something IE; a child, time sharing plan, etc, I would steer clear away from this lady. Think three or four times (not twice) before you give your money to this lady.
