My husband filed for divorce. I hired an attorney who was recommended by a friend. She was horrible. When I told her I was running out of money and asked if she would accept installment payments, she left me. I then turned to Maria Medel. What a difference. Ms. Medel is kind, compassionate, caring and the ultimate professional. She is sharp and aggressive when needed and ultimately, successful. I have recommended her to friends and colleagues and they all speak very highly of her.
I was refered by a friend and was given a good word. I was also promised by the friend that the job would be done extremely well and i would be satisfied and received just that from my child custody case. Price was also fair.
I was well advised of what was needed to get the job done. I had shopped for attorneys before she was recommended and found all to be very over priced. All because of her knowledge and expertice. She was successful in gathering me and my daughter after a custody battle with the uncooperative mother at the time. Within a few months I was able to share custody. I truely recommend Maria Medel for I am truely grateful for what she's done for me and my family.
I gave my divorce case to Maria Medel and at the beginning she seemed intrested in the case and worked on it quickly as a couple of months passed into the case. It looked as if Maria was disintrested in the case and practically let my file just get dust on the shelf. If it wasn't for me filing my own subpoenas, hiring my own process servers she wouldn't have done anything. After she told me that the paperwork that I was asking for in the subpoenas was unnecessary she ended up asking me for them to take them to court with her. When we finally arrived at court the defendants attorney was attacking us and she would just stay quiet at all times, when the case came to an end and the Magistrate asked both side if they had anything to say she just said "NO". Very bad defense. I would say she made the case worst than what it was just for not saying anything. I would have prefered for her to tell me that she didn't want to work the case any longer. My case is very complicated and she just hurt my family, and myselft more than what we were thinking we were going to be helped out of this horrible circumstances we are going through. Her secretary is another duts and doesn't know anything about anything. Don't even bother asking her for any information becasue she never knows anything of whats going on. I can continue all day about things that she was supposed to do in the case by law and she didn't do them. When we went to court even the Magistrate called her attention for things that she knew she had to do and didn't do them.
