I hired Meg to represent me in a divorce proceeding. I found her to be very knowledgeable and helpful during the process. She always answered my questions and emails on a timely basis. I felt I was well represented and my concerns heard. I would not hesitate to hire her again or refer her.
Margaret McMullen Reston is an awesome divorce lawyer. She goes above and beyond to help me with my case. She gets high ratings for being a strong communicator with me and the defendant’s lawyer. Her explanations are thorough, and she is very good at helping me understand my case so that I always know what to expect. She responds quickly to my emails, promptly answering any questions I have. Meg makes very knowledgeable decisions to help strengthen my case. She really does care about her clients. Her balance of compassion and determination to reach the desired outcome for her clients make her the ideal attorney.
Ms. Reston has been and continues to be an amazing and trustworthy lawyer. She was able to answer all questions and ease all nerves while going through a very difficult and stressful divorce. Once completed and handled exactly how I had hoped I ran into another issue due to separation and there was not a question about reaching back out to Meg. She is quick to respond, gives you facts and is beyond amazing at what she does in the courtroom. I have recommended her to a family member as well who has also had such a positive experience. I cannot say enough about the professionalism, kindness and appreciation I have for Meg Reston.
Meg was both lawyer and counselor to me. She made sure she presented all the facts and helped me work through my decisions. She was always on my side and worked with integrity.
This lady is appointed by the court to represent children, even kids that are manipulative to their parents and have a track record with school and other credible authority. Meg acts like something happened to her in her own childhood and at that moment she decided she would be committed to bringing justice to every child no matter what but the problem is that she doesn’t treat each Situation as unique. She doesn’t care what the parent says and tries to get the child to live with their grandmother so they can get away with whatever they want. She is a cutthroat and calculated individual with deep seeded issues of her own that she plays out in other people’s lives in court !! Barf !
I hired Ms. Reston for a divorce/custody matter to support me and my young son. Ms. Reston did not aggressively support me, my child or my case. Furthermore, she rarely answered my questions in any straightforward fashion creating greater confusion, worry and concern. Most emails that contained important questions or a request for clarification were ignored increasing my concerns and anxiety in one of the more difficult situations in life - divorce and child custody. Even my deep concerns for my child were not addressed with any degree of commitment, clarity, empathy or compassion. I payed her fee but she did not work for me or in my or my son's best interest, and did not fight for what is right for my child. Ms. Reston worked in her best interest. In the end, she added an extra layer of concern and stress to an already extremely difficult and stressful experience. All while costing me thousands of dollars in fees.
