Mrs. Powers is an active member of her profession and community.  She has twice served as the Chairman of the Crossville Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce working to bring new opportunities to this region.  She is a graduate of Leadership America and was selected by the Speakers of the House and Senate to serve on the Tennessee Economic Council on Women.
