I was threatened by a company over a negative YouTube video I made to expose some shady business practices. Marc reviewed my case and was immediately on-board to defend me and stand up against this hostile company. Marc's motivation stemmed from his aggressive support of the First Amendment. I didn't know this, but he even helped author NV's Anti-SLAPP laws which would have been the basis of our case. Marc was sensitive to the issue of cost, and we made a deal which worked for me. Additionally, I was impressed by his responsiveness via email to questions and suggestions -- few emails went unreplied after 15 minutes. Bottom Line: During one of the most stressful situations in my life, Marc made me feel relaxed.
Marc Randazza is a ride-or-die attorney! I knew that from the very first time we spoke. I had no idea the ride would go on as long as it has and would require him to fight for me all the way up to the Supreme Court. Marc is incredibly knowledgeable and extremely passionate about protecting one's right to free speech. If I could give Marc more than a 5-star rating I would. There isn't a rating high enough to reflect the level of expertise, dedication, support, and passion that he and his team bring to a case and their clients. He has done everything he could to protect my First Amendment rights and ensure that the Anti-SLAPP law is applied accurately and fairly in my case. If you need an attorney who will relentlessly fight for you and support you every step of the way, Marc Randazza, and his team will not disappoint. In my opinion, if you have Marc fighting for you, you've got the best of the best. He is literally an answer to my prayers. I will be forever grateful that Marc Randazza is my ride-or-die attorney extraordinaire!
It's hard to overstate how glad I am to have had Marc Randazza in my corner during one of the most stressful, frustrating episodes in my life. A Las Vegas casino (I won't dignify by naming) filed a baseless lawsuit against me. The owner is a billionaire with an ax to grind because he didn't like something I said about his casino. From my first conversation with Marc, it was clear he was not intimidated by the resources of a major Las Vegas company, and he went full bore defending me and my First Amendment rights. He never stopped. We literally won every decision along the way, and his anti-SLAPP motion was a work of art that succeeded in getting the case dropped. Marc and his team were amazing to work with, and we recouped every penny of the legal fees. Marc and his team are incredibly passionate, knowledgeable and supportive. I wouldn't wish frivolous litigation and legal bullying on anyone, but if it happens, having Marc Randazza on your side can make all the difference, financially and otherwise. Marc helped restore my reputation and protected my business with a ferocity that's hard to describe. Marc is colorful and in some ways unconventional, but he has a depth of expertise I believe is unequaled. He didn't just take on my case, he was invested in a crusade. For freedom of speech and the right of everyone to get a fair shake from our legal system. In my David vs. Goliath tale, Marc Randazza was the rock. He slayed a giant, and they never really knew what hit them.
Marc is an incredibly shrewd and competent lawyer. He holds the rights granted to us as citizens of this country very dear and feels very strongly about their preservation. Marc is articulate and bold. I am deeply grateful for his service.
Mr. Randazza, and his entire firm, are a class act. I was treated with respect, and kindness. Either Mr. Randazza himself, or his wonderful assistant would get back to me minutes after I emailed them. That's amazing. My case was not ''big'' but it was very personal. Most Attorneys didn't even bother calling me back. So I was amazed by the personal attention from The Randazza Law Group. The information I got from him helped me tremendously in dealing with the company in question. After speaking with Mr. Randazza I was fully armed. I would not hesitate in either hiring Mr. Randazza, or recommending this law office to anyone with a legal problem. Mr. Randazza is a straight shooter, an honest person and above all you feel important when you deal with him, not just another case.
I suppose my issue was non-traditional, as I was a not-named party to a lawsuit based on twitter comments (it was someone else who got sued, my comments were part of a list of tweets entered as evidence in motions). Because it was a default judgement, I ended up getting a letter telling me to stop saying mean things (about an abusive man). Enter Marc. With a letter to the abuser's attorney my worries about getting sued (or even arrested on a contempt of court charge) went away, while still retaining my anonymity... Marc was at all times respectful (to both me and opposing counsel) and professional. I would hire Marc again in a heartbeat if I were to find myself on the receiving end of a lawsuit.
Marc Randazza has worked on a number of free speech cases for us. In fact, this last year, we had a "bet the company" case, a very ugly and contentious case involving First Amendment rights and Section 230. Marc proved himself to be a real fighter that defended us vigorously through 14 months of hell, even though the other side started personally attacking his reputation, and even sued him personally to try and make him give up the fight on our behalf. Marc stuck with us through it all, and in the end, we came out victorious. More details about the case can be assessed from Marc's profile on our site http://www.pissedconsumer.com/static/legal-information/marc-randazza.html After that we were so pleased with him, that we hired Marc on a constant retainer, and we are happy to have such a strong First Amendment and Section 230 Attorney on our side.
In my time of need for legal services, Mr. Marc Randazza has stepped up to the plate on more than one occasion, returning my phone calls personally. Mr. Randazza is extremely helpful on more than just the legal end. He has had an open line of communication during difficult times, which was extremely helpful in keeping me informed, thus lowering my stress levels and heightening my knowledge of what is happening from moment to moment. One thing I like about Mr.Randazza is his utmost honesty. He WILL tell you like it is. Some things in life may be difficult to hear, but Randazza will pull no punches and will not lead you into a costly, drawn out situation for his own personnal financial gain. I highly recommend Mr.Randazza for any legal needs you might have. This guy is licensed in 5 states, not an easy task. Mr. Randazza is not afraid of hard work, in fact he thrives on it. I haven't had a need for a lawyer in a long while, but if I do Randazza is the guy to call.
When you hire Marc Randazza as your free speech lawyer, people listen. I have been threatened with multiple lawsuits. When they realize Marc was my lawyer, they understood any lawsuit against me would be vigorously defended. Marc Randazza has been my lawyer in a lengthy and complicated defamation lawsuit (which we won) and in my trademark application before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (application approved). Marc has also been my legal counsel in pre-litigation matters and has advised me about other lawsuit threats. Fortunately those matters were avoided. I understand his acumen better than most, I am also a lawyer. Thus you could ever consider Randazza to be a "lawyer's lawyer." I have referred clients to Marc would trust him with my life.
Marc Randazza saved my financial life with his defense of me. I highly, highly recommend him. In short, he is an attack dog but never loses sight of what is the wise and prudent thing to do. He compiled an attack that, on multiple fronts, decimated every argument of the lawyer and client coming after me. My experience of him is that he is passionately committed to fairness and doing what’s right, and as I saw it, does not see losing a case as an option for himself. I know he must occasionally lose a case (because this can’t always be in control of the lawyer due to the client’s situation and the law), but the way he approaches them -- with this fierceness that losing is not an option -- made me feel secure from the start that I didn’t have to worry at all; I just needed to wait for him to finish what he needed to do. I feel confident in saying that whatever the best possible outcome is, Randazza will get it for a client. I also want to explain that while he is fierce, he is not just fierce. He is also methodical, meticulous, and highly incisive. In his defense of my case -- which he made go away rather than going to trial (phew!), I found him to be a brilliant writer (of the brief) and a leave-no-stones-unturned thinker and arguer. While I’m extremely grateful to him for all he did to defend me, I’m also extremely grateful I wasn’t the client on the other side of him. He, plain and simple, wiped the floor with every argument the other side’s lawyer made. And that’s no exaggeration. He brilliantly, brilliantly answered every argument the other lawyer made with a legally-supported argument (based in prior cases, state law, and constitutional law) that just made every argument the other side had just shrivel up -- to the point where the other side probably understood that they were lucky to just walk away and not walk away with a countersuit. (I did not want a countersuit; I just wanted the other side to go away; so I was very, very happy with this outcome.) I also want to say that though Randazza is a fierce and committed defender of free speech -- mine and all of ours -- he never lost sight of my best interests. He was careful in informing me of all my alternatives, including the possible benefits of settling, and emphasized that this was an option for me, and explained all the reasons that this approach might have merits for me. Another very important way that Randazza is fierce is that he’s fiercely ethical. It’s important to me to have a lawyer who, while exploiting every angle, never stops coming from moral high ground. I don’t really understand people who sneer at their lawyers for being sleazy. It’s up to a client to choose a lawyer who, in their initial conversations, reflects that they are both extremely intelligent/clever (and will figure out the puzzle of how to get you out of trouble) and comes from moral high ground. This matters to judges and it matters in terms of public opinion, if there is any public reflection on your case, which their was on mine. I found, at every turn, that Randazza drew on his mind and case law rather than ever doing anything underhanded. And finally, I think you can understand a lot about a lawyer through his associates. The people who work for Marc Randazza are like mini-Randazzas in many ways, but the important part to me was that they seem to truly love and respect the guy. Love and respect. They love him because he’s decent to the core -- a man of principle -- and they respect him because of all I wrote above. I highly, highly recommend Marc Randazza as a lawyer and a human being -- although I strongly suggest that you avoid being on the other side of him, because he’ll eat you and your lawyer for breakfast and eat whatever’s left for a mid-day snack. Great man, great lawyer; I was extremely lucky and will forever be grateful to him for his defense of me.
