About
Attorney Guertin's expertise and eazygoing style have made him popular with his peers as well as his clients. He is a faculy member of the National Business Institute and a member of Wealth Counsel's Professional Speaker's Bureau. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Connecticut Bar Association's Estate and Probate Section. Attorney Guertin is also a charter member of the Connecticut Bar Association's Elder Law Section. He had co-authored two textbooks: Key Issues in Estate Planning in Connecticut and Estate, Financial and Health Care Planning of Elder Clients. He also co-authored the book, Planning for the Future: A Practical Guide to Estate Planning and Avoiding Bad "Heir" Days, with his son and partner, Marc. Attorney Guertin earned his Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude from the University of New Haven and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law. He is admitted to practice before the bars in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and the United States Supreme Court.
