She is and always has been an animal lover. Their family home is lucky to have three wonderful, but not always so well behaved dogs. Cassie and her family enjoy exploring the Kansas City area on the weekends from Union Station to festivals in smaller communities. She is also known to unwind watching any show on Masterpiece Theatre and is anxiously awaiting season four of Stranger Things.Cassie grew up in Hays, Kansas and graduated from Fort Hays State University. She entered law school right after college and graduated from the University of Kansas, School of Law.Cassie is a supporter of the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City, especially their Ray of Hope partnership with Kansas City, KS animal control. Two of Cassie’s dogs are Ray of Hope alumni.
