I just want to start by saying I am a struggling mother of two small children. I never once got pressured or demanded payments . She allowed me to pay my fees when I could. From the first sit down Mrs. White took my situation of doubt and completely changed my mind set. The confidence alone she has will make you feel like no matter what she has your back. A lawyer is someone your suppose to trust and able to feel confident with . And let me just tell y’all she doesn’t know it but she is my bestfriend, because without her amazing skills I have no clue how my situation would of turned out. Attorney White was persistent from the start. Once I explained the case she immediately got to work. She was very professional at all times. Attorney White didn't take no for an answer. I used this attorney previously this year (in fact I have just hired her for a second time!) She was very knowledgeable about everything that could happen throughout my case. She is very confident and to the point. I thought there were things we should use throughout my trial and she knew what we should and should not use. She won my case without any trouble. She mad the apposing attorney look like an amateur! She always kept me informed of anything new that came up and was accepting to talk me through my misunderstandings of the court system and legal aspects of my case. She was very helpful and set up a conference every single time I had questions. I would highly recommend using her for your legal needs! We were in the court room for two and a half days and she guided me through every step of the process!

Magdalena was assigned as public defender for my daughter when she was young and got into some trouble and she really was firm with her and straight forward. Would definitely use her again.

Not sure how magdalena has 5 stars on anything....but my personal experience with her was horrific. The long of the short is, I paid her $4,000+ to get custody of my son. She produced nothing for a year! I gave her a chance, and she proved her unprofessionallism with me. My credibility speaks for itself all throughout the US and I'm telling you now, she is not worth of your time and money. Anyone who feels my review is a lie, clearly has not been in my shoes. Do NOT higher her. Furthermore, I will keep reporting her to the BBB until her license is revoked. When you burn your clients, karama catches up.

I would not recommend Magdelena White for any matters relating to family law. There seems to be a lack of general knowledge in the family law arena. After struggling to communicate with with Ms. White and her assistant for 3 months, I dismissed them and found other more capable representation. There was an overall lack of information, numerous unanswered emails and questions, and no one ever seemed to know what was going on there. I found them to be completely disorganized and totally unresponsive. Not only was she not responsive to me, but she was unresponsive to the opposing attorney as well causing a significant delay in any progress. I have contacted them numerous times since 1/5/16 requesting a refund for unearned fees, and not surprisingly have not received a refund or response. For anyone that has had similar issues, I would recommend contacting the NC bar Association and filing a formal grievance and WRAL's 5 on your side to bring some much needed attention to law firms such as this one.
