Even though I didn't meet him in person for several months of my ongoing divorce case, he was approachable and quick to respond over phone and email. He is smart, and had clear strategy to counter potential legal challenges in most situations. Though attorney's fees did accumulate a lot. I feel that there may be opportunity to lower his price and accommodate people with a relatively lower income bracket that are in need of a good attorney.

My friend and I had a same immigration case, but we hired different lawyer. I paid (Maarij) a bit more than what my friend paid for her lawyer, however, I was fine with it since he seemed very knowledgeable and interactive the first time I met him. He helped me file a form (which I could have done by myself) and never reached out to me to check how my process is going. Whenever I call his office, I either get "he's not in the office" or just a very short conversation with him. It always makes me feel like I'm annoying him since he never called, emailed or invited me to his office to discuss my case. I still do think he is a nice person but he needs to finish the job that he agreed to get paid for.

The service was not on par with what I believe is the average level of professionalism out there on the market. He never seemed available to talk over the phone or in-person because of him my husband case was late .
