I don’t often write reviews of any sort but in the case of Ms. Weisberg I thought that doing so was warranted. There are no circumstances I can imagine where anyone is going to feel comfortable having someone placed in your life to evaluate your family dynamic. That being said, if there is ever a time that you find yourself in a place where it is warranted, Ms. Weisberg should be your first choice. As I assume most people would feel, I had question/concerns about how a GAL would approach their review of my family. Would they be biased based on the gender of the parent they are reviewing? Would they base their opinion of my parenting style on how they may parent themselves? Will they interact with my children in a way that does not make them uncomfortable? Will they take every statement by parents or children at face value or will they do their due diligence and find the whole truth? In the case of Ms. Weisberg, I could not have been more pleased with her level of professionalism. Ms. Weisberg didn’t just show up to talk to members of our family to check boxes for a report but sought to understand all the circumstances that led us to needing her services. Ms. Weisberg spoke to my children in a way that did not cause them to feel uncomfortable or threatened. The same can be said with the respect she showed the adults in our situation. When Ms. Weisberg had questions about anything her questions were direct and fair so you never felt like she was trying to lead you or trick you. I felt like Ms. Weisberg was always looking for a solution or compromise that she felt was best for my children and we the parents. I certainly didn’t agree with all of her assessments but I often times found myself agreeing with her opinions despite them requiring me to compromise on things I wanted. Ultimately, as I stated in the beginning, Ms. Weisberg did a tremendous job working for all parties involved to find what was best for my children. She is a credit to her profession
I hired Lynn to help me with my divorce. She was professional, patient, available, honest, direct, knowledgeable and supportive. She always helped me focus on what was best for my children. She was able to communicate effectively and productively with my ex-husband's lawyer which helped us reach an agreement without wasting our time and money. I would highly recommend Ms. Weisberg. You should know that she will do what is right!!
Lynn helped me through a difficult process. She was always responsive, and willing to listen and help find the best solutions for my children. Her knowledge of custody issues allowed me to navigate a very challenging process. I believe Lynn helped speed the process to in finalizing the Allocation Judgment and Parenting Plan allowing everyone to move on. I recommended Lynn to anyone I know who is in the unfortunate situation of facing a divorce, and I will continue to do so. I trusted her with the most important things in my life (my children), and I would not hesitate to do so again.
Ms Weisberg sets the bar when it comes to family attorneys. She did her due diligence when it came to understanding every aspects of my case. At first, it was frustrating to not see immediate results. But, in retrospect, I can truly appreciate that she took the time to build a case that was best for my child. It can be difficult to see through the emotions of a legal family matter. However, she saw the big picture and maintained a level-head. Ms. Weisberg is a professional attorney who will go above and beyond for a client. In my opinion, when it comes to something as important as your family, you're not going to find better. I will forever be grateful for her and my children are blessed that she entered our lives.
Avoid Lynn Weisberg at all costs! She is terrible and unprofessional. She is a wimp of an attorney and did not stand up for my children when they were in an abusive situations. She lets other attorneys bully her into agreeing to their demands and has been described by several attorneys as a "mouse". Your children will not be well-represented by her. Mine paid the ultimate price. She did not return my phone calls or emails and showed up to court habitually late. Avoid!
