We hired Attorney Gillis to handle a guardianship. She did an excellent job with it and responded quickly to our questions. In fact, she was able to file the papers with the court immediately to avoid someone taking advantage of our family member.

Shortly after we hired Lucinda Gillis to act as the attorney of record for our father, a 92-year-old protected individual, she sent a proposal to the co-guardians of the protected person asking whether she could borrow $ $ 100,000.00 from him. She said that she would even be willing to do the paperwork as well as record the interest payments. I did not viewed this as an appropriate request and, as such, I asked Ms. Gillis to resign her position as attorney of record.
