After consulting with three criminal lawyers my wife and I selected Lisa Hanes to take our son's case. Before we hired her she visited our son in jail to assess the situation and then we had a second meeting with her. The other two attorneys didn't, they just gave us a price. Her office is close to the jail and Tarrant County court house so she can be very efficient with her time. During consultation she was able to quickly discern our situation and lay out several scenarios of how she would go about defending this case and what the possible outcomes would be. Reason being she's a passionate knowledgeable lawyer with a great deal of experience when it comes to legal issues and she cares about her clients and their cases. my first experience(consultation) with her concerning my DWI left a lasting impression. she made it known to me that my legal rights and livelihood were important, because i didn't need to lose my job. in which i left her office feeling relieved with no worries.
