I was looking to have my parenting plan adjusted. Things started off pretty well in the beginning with her getting things going with the courts, reaching out to the other party’s attorney, her responsiveness, etc. and she always told me we had a strong case based on her findings. As the final court date approached she stopped being responsive, wasn’t responding to my emails and phone calls and when we finally did connect she kept trying to steer me to avoid court because we don’t want a “knock down drag out fight”, which confused me since I was already prepared in my mind that court would more than likely occur and what happened to our “strong case”. I feel like her sudden change was due to the other party’s attorney and I honestly believe she was intimidated by them. Against my better judgement, I went with Lindsey’s guidance and we “settled”, if you can all it that, out of court.
