I was facing divorce, but didn't know where to start. I firmly believe that God answered my prayer and sent Lindsey to me. I was so emotionally and physically exhausted and Lindsey took right over. She reassured me in every step she took and we took together. She and her staff, Amanda and Sara are incredible. They were always available on the phone, email, text and in at the office, in person. What could have been an even more mentally exhausting process, I had no worries knowing Lindsey was in charge. She put all conversations in laymen's terms and was also accommodating with my work schedule. I thank the Good Lord for Lindsey! One of the wisest choices I ever made in my life. THANK YOU!!
Lindsey is incredibly on top of thingsand quick to answer questions. She lets you know what is realistic but definitely does not bend to the opposing side. I will only be using her for any future custody needs and would HIGHLY recommend her for any family court matters.
Lindsey Van Fleet is an excellent lawyer. She is incredibly knowledgeable about family law, but more importantly, she made me feel a lot better about the whole process. She struck the right balance between compassion and logical reason. She helped me get the best possible outcome from this sad situation. I would recommend Lindsey to anyone going through a child custody case.
My needs and the needs of my children were represented to our benefit through aggressive and comprehensive negotiations. Lindsey's experience, diligence, and established business relationships created a positive outcome for me and my children. Lindsey responded quickly and honestly to my questions and kept an open line of communication. Should I need services like this in the future, I will hire Lindsey to represent me.
Lindsey helped us so much with our case. She devotes so much time and was always there when we needed. Skew really did all she could and got us the best results possible.
Lindsey listened and related to my situation with understanding not only of the law but my best interest. She was prepared to fight for my case and with that I have much respect for her.
Mrs. Van Fleet is the best lawyer I've ever had! She is completely upfront, honest, informative, and able to express her professional opinion in a way all can understand. She is always a step ahead of everyone with each case. I have worked with her for years with many cases, and anytime I hear someone is in need of a great lawyer, I always refer them to her. I owe her so much in this world because of her dedication to help with my custody battle. You will seriously be making the best decision by hiring her as your legal counsel. Don't take second best in Kansas City, call her today!!
I was looking to have my parenting plan adjusted. Things started off pretty well in the beginning with her getting things going with the courts, reaching out to the other party’s attorney, her responsiveness, etc. and she always told me we had a strong case based on her findings. As the final court date approached she stopped being responsive, wasn’t responding to my emails and phone calls and when we finally did connect she kept trying to steer me to avoid court because we don’t want a “knock down drag out fight”, which confused me since I was already prepared in my mind that court would more than likely occur and what happened to our “strong case”. I feel like her sudden change was due to the other party’s attorney and I honestly believe she was intimidated by them. Against my better judgement, I went with Lindsey’s guidance and we “settled”, if you can all it that, out of court. I had additional questions but I never got those answered by Lindsey after several emails and phone calls. After our “court date”, she became totally MIA and it’s a year later and she has never responded back to me so I had to take it upon myself to contact the courts to ensure things were finalized. I would caution anyone to use her due to her lack of follow through.
