Linda Molta-Tetreault represented me and my daughter from 1993 through 3/2014. Her work included intricate child support and custody issues. My ex-husband abandoned our daughter at birth and disappeared to the west coast. He reappeared three years later to file for custody and visitation privileges. He did not paid child support or inquire about her well-being during his absence. Linda and I were in court on an almost monthly basis for at least two years, then at least semi-annually until March of 2014. Our main concern for the first several years was that he would take my daughter and vanish with her. Linda so forcefully represented us during that time that his visits were conducted on a minimal basis, in the security of my parents home, and in the presence of a family friend. During 20 years of work on this case, for everything from child support and medical insurance to college tuition, Linda fought ferociously and passionately; not only for the safety of my daughter, but also so that she would be allowed to grow up without feeling encumbered by this narcissistic man. Linda represented us with the heart of a lion and the love of a mother, and because she knew I had no resources to pay her, she did almost all of this pro bono. My daughter graduated from college last week (05/10/14), and of course Linda was on the phone offering her love and congratulations. I feel safe to say that without Linda, my daughter would have had a much different childhood, and a not so promising future. I cannot adequately thank her for her work, her compassion, and her dedication over these many years.
I was referred to this law firm by a friend but seems more like it was from my worst enemy because this was the worst expreience, service and excuse for a law firm. My son was a passenger in a motor vehicle accident(we had Christopher Cava as his attorney)and within 2 months he received his settlement, which by the way was more than mine and I waited 5yrs. My accident was not my fault, I had a police report, witnesses and the other driver received a citation and I still waited what I feel was a ridiculous amount of time for barely nothing($2000.00). I now wished I had gone with Attorney Cava and been done with this awful experience 4 yrs ago, and probably would have settled for what I was originally told in the beginning from this firm. I honestly feel like attorney Molta and Phelan have never handled a motor vehicle case before and I was their guineau pig. I would NEVER recommend this law firm to anyone, if you have a open and shut case and want the best results this is not the firm you want.I was strung along and promised all kinds of compensation for my accident, and I put my trust in these people that they knew what they were doing but when it came to the end they acted as if they had never even read my file. If they had done the research that they claim they did and that I had to pay for out of my tiny settlement I would not be writing this. They took more than their fair share and have nothing to show for it
