I went back home to Florida and when my ex filed with the courts and I had my first hearing over the phone she ordered me to come back to the state on my own dime did not order him to pay any type of support and even with damning evidence against my ex and clear documentation that I provided my daughter with a better quality of life she told me if I wasnt going to live in Richmond for my exs convenience than she was going to give him full custody. And she did. I am in the process of appealing this case but if you are ever in a custody battle and you find out she is your judge, I would file for an immediate change in judges.

Iam going through a few case's now and she is my lawyer she with held information from me that was critical to my case the prosecutor offered me thats best deal possible she i had to find out via third party about it and when i asked her about it she says oh yeah they did mention something to me about dropping to of your charges i will talk to them and call you back and she still havent called me...

She was advising me to contact other party even though there was a protective order. She made me do my own paperwork. What is the point of having an attorney if your filing all your own court docuements? She insisted that I not be petty and agreed to joint legal custody. Wrong. I have had a continous battle that is going into its second year of court dates due to the fact this was not done correctly the first time. I need a pit pull in the court room and she was not it. Not every divorce and custody case are happy parties willing to come to an agreement. Some are bitter and hateful. So you need someone who is going to represent you and your childs best interest. I could have saved the money and represented myself.

I just lost custody of my 18 month daughter to her father due to negligence of the court. I had 4 witnesses and all documentation to prove my daughter's father was unfit as a parent. I fled my relationship with him due to domestic violence and and because we had no financial stability in our relationship and for our daughter.
