I hired Letitia to represent me in a matter concerning an elderly relative. She seemed like such a nice person, and I depended on her to help me navigate an extremely difficult and emotional situation. She abandoned me and left the firm in the middle of the case without warning or direction. I was passed on to an associate who was not interested, told me I got a legal "raw deal", and simply tells me to pay the balance of what I owe the firm. Letitia missed deadlines and never acted assertively on my part. After recently engaging a new attorney, he told me he felt my previous attorneys did such a poor job, he agreed to do what he could for me pro bono. He has done more for me in two weeks than Letitia did in six months. During her tenure, my relative's health deteriorated, and I missed the final days of lucidity. I could not, in good conscience, ever recommended Letitia Maxfield.
