About

We are a boutique client-focused family owned and managed law firm focusing on immigration issues and providing services at a fair price in the Miami, Florida area for the past two decades The law firm of Leslie I. Snyder P.A. has provided counseling to individuals and companies located in the United States and abroad requiring assistance in responding or making applications to the federal immigration authorities.  The scope of our activities includes free telephone consultations with our Board Certified Immigration Lawyer who speaks English and Spanish; preliminary and prompt legal case-background investigations; preparation, filing, and presentation of visa applications for temporary and permanent residence in the U.S.; applications for multi-national investors and transfers to and from the United States; million-dollar entrepreneur applications for lawful permanent residence; Social Security No Match letters and I-9 audits for national and international public and private companies; discrete consultations regarding visas for executive transfers; formation of new U.S. business ventures; investments by foreign companies and nationals; “perm” labor certifications for public and private corporations, financial and medical institutions; customs and border protection and NAFTA Canadian/Mexican consultations; preventative measures for employers; involuntary and voluntary departure orders; Immigration court hearing and appeals; family immigration; the confidential representation of athletes, entertainers, artists, sports figures and teams, and the naturalization of immigrant residents.  Our fees are determined, as far as possible, at the start of our representation; and our initial evaluation is free via telephone or provided with a nominal charge in person, at which time the client’s needs and requirements are evaluated, and the nature and scope of the representation is determined.  Our fees are based on the professional time and responsibility involved.  We provide alternative and competitive billing arrangements, including fixed or flat fee retainers, competitive hourly rates, bundled monthly rates, and payments via wire transfer, check, cash, credit card, or debit card. Advance payment of fixed fee amounts and retainers against recorded billable time, billed monthly, are required, all as agreed at the start of our representation, and we have recently adjusted (reduced) our hourly rates by 20%, in an effort to assist in today’s economy. A written engagement agreement is required before the client or our firm is committed to the representation.  All efforts will be made to translate the contents of the retention agreement to the native language of the client upon request and to determine the expectations of the client, and the best way to meet those expectations going forward. Leslie I. I'am from Spain and am the principal in a wine distribution and importing company. I hired the firm of Leslie I. Snyder PA in the early 90's. She assisted me with the forming of my company, applications for investor visas and extensions, consular visa applications, them also successfully filled applications for a green card based on my international business and finally my citizenship in the U.S. I highly recommend her.

Leslie I. Snyder is one of the most compassionate people I've ever met. A lot of people forget that lawyers tend not to show much of this part of them to their clients. She did. And this, on top of the skills and dedication she employed to make sure the American dream becomes reality for us. Our family is for ever grateful!
