I highly recommend Leslie Ditlow as an attorney for family law. She is extremely knowledgeable, relatable, empathetic, compassionate, and take definitive action to help your case. Her care for and support of my children and my family has been a comfort, and a great help in navigating this difficult custody situation. A tremendous attorney!

We hired Leslie for 2 custody cases. She always took the time to explain everything on both sides of the spectrum. She is always available by phone when I need her. We also hired her for our support cases. She may seem sweet when speaking with her, but this woman knows her way around a court room. She's awesome. Reasonable in what she charges for her time and persistent in what she sets out to to accomplish. FIVE STARS ISNT ENOUGH.

I hired Leslie for some criminal matters that I need legal help with. I was so impressed with her knowledge and how sincere she was. She advised me of things I did not even know existed! She was by my side every step of the way, and she won the case for me! I HIGHLY recommend Leslie for any of your legal matters!

Leslie represented me in my divorce and was willing and able to produce the results that I expected. Everything was filed in a timely manner and although always respectful in the court was able to show teeth to my ex-husband which made me feel like I got my money’s worth. Prompt for court and timely with answering any question which I had regardless of how big or small. Reasonable rates would recommend.

If you are looking for someone who is passionate about getting you what you need out of your divorce and will help you keep your hope up during this trying time, while not gauging your wallet. Here she is. She was always on time for my court dates/times. She always filed filings promptly, she was at times difficult to get ahold of, but she is an attorney who works on her own, with no assistance and a family of her own. So, sometimes you have to overlook things when you are getting a reasonable rate and just keep trying. When she would get back to me, she was on point with her knowledge of my case. She was always honest and fair and didn't over estimate on what was possible. She was able to help me to see what was normal proceedings and what was crap trying to pulled by my ex. She didn't let the opposing attorney bully her all though he did try. She never made me feel that she was better then me, or that I was trash for my situation. I would recommend her if you are willing to do some work (extra calls) for lower legal fees. I know she saved me money that I was better able to use for my children.

Leslie was great. I had a DUI case and she was really able to help me out. She kept me very informed on what was going to happen and kept my mind at ease during the stressful time. I couldn't ask for a better lawyer I would recommend her to everyone I know if they had legal issues.

I really liked Leslie on a personal level. We hiredanother lawyer for a criminal case and he brought her in to consult as he was not experienced enough to handle it. She really knew her stuff and showed much compassion. We were supposed to have another hearing within a month of going to court and it was never scheduled. I repeatedly asked her what the status was and if I got a response at all she would say "I'll see what I can do to speed up a date." and nearly a year later we finally got her to have the court schedule it after going back to our original lawyer who had to contact her twice. I would not have hired her again for custody due to this but she was very good. I also looked up the docket sheet myself and saw that the court had scheduled this hearing for 2015, 2 years after it was supposed to be scheduled. I assumed this is what took so long and that it was not her not doing the job. I figured she was having trouble with the courts bc the hearing was scheduled and no one could find it. So, my husband and I hired her agin to handle child custody. I asked her she would be able to file papers the first week in Dece, bet and she said yes. The case took an unsurprising turn and so we waited 3 weeks to make a decision on what to do. We needed to add a lot more detail to our filing and decide if we wanted to go that route. We did and she was to file the papers the week of Christmas. Never happened. I did not hear from her from the day we returned the papers to her that week u til January 23. The response Ito was that she had some health problems and was down for a little while and she would see what she could do about a date. I knew then and there that she never filed the papers because if she had we would have gotten a letter in the mail from the court with the date. I have contacted her weekly since that day in January and gotten no response. NONE. I finally asked for a refund for the deposit we gave her and haven't heard back on that either. Surprise, surprise. She really messed up this case for my husband bc we needed to act on something his daughter's mother was doing immediately. She totally dropped the ball. If you can get her to respond to you though, kudos bc she really does know her stuff. What good is that though if she doesn't do the work you hire her to do?

A friend of mine gave be her number, as she worked on her divorce case, and everything went well. She was eager to set up an initial meeting - in her house - in which she was very hopeful that this would move quickly, and we would win the case. She took my retainer (which was too much after speaking with other lawyers), and then good luck in getting her to set up, and keep a meeting. When we did finally agree on a date and time, as that time drew near, she blew it off, and no phone calls or communication of any kind. Also, not very knowledgeable. She did not even know that after over 10 years of marriage, I was entitled to my spouses SS benefits. She was sure that was wrong, until we looked it up on the internet. Really? She was the one who should have been telling me that - not the other way around. As I read in a previous review, she does not like to return calls or texts when under stress. She just disappears. I wish I would have read that before I gave her my retainer.

Ditlow is not organized is always last minute with her filings. does not do things you discuss with her and has psychological problems which she will only reveal after you sign representation.(she cannot drive on large roads. bridges and has problems with tall buildings and elevators) make sure you question her on this. When she is stressed she will ignore the situation instead of confronting it. she will leave you hanging

I was refered to Miss Ditlow in July 2011 for a financial matter with a family member. It took a couple of weeks to get back to me. I assumed she was just busy. When she finally got back to me, we arranged a meeting. she seemed very empathetic with my case and decided to try it. In this meeting I gave her the documentation that proved my family member owned me a substantial amount of money. She also told me she would get back to me with what the fees would be. After a couple of months I had not heard from her, so I called a few times leaving a message each time. She finally got back to me in September of 2011 and told me the court fee was $156.00. She said she had sent the paperwork to me to sign, but accidently set it to the residence of the family member who owed me money. She said the court fee was $156.00 and I should write it out to her, because sometimes the court won't take it. (huge mistake listening to her. she cashed the check, and then I didn't hear from her for months despite various calls. In April of 2012, i was able to contact her through Facebook. I asked if she was still trying my case, and could I have back the documentation I gave her as proof. She said she would send me the paper work and still help me. I have not heard back from her. I called her every day for a month strait in June. I have not gotten my paper work back. so I am out the money my family member borrowed, and the check I wrote out to her, and have no way of getting ahold of her. Even the friend who refered me to her has not gotten an answer from her.
