Leslie McClellan Brown represented me in my divorce last year, and she did an excellent job. She is a very resassuring presence in a troubled time, calm, sensible, and conscientious. If I had followed her advice more closely I may have done better, but I recommend her highly.

I was so lucky to have Leslie represent me in my divorce. I came to her after almost a year with another lawyer that continuously missed deadlines resulting in contempts filed against me and additional conflict with my spouse and her attorney. I met with Leslie and explained my situation. She agreed to take over my case had everything cleared up within a month and spent the next 5 months diligently representing me. Leslie is professional, knowledgeable, and prepared. She went above and beyond to help me settled an extremely contentious divorce. She was able to divide the financial and custody issues into two separate issues. Leslie worked diligently to find equitable solutions. She offers personal representation and she really cares about her clients. She educated herself on every aspect of my case and proved to be much better than my ex’s attorney from a big, expensive law firm in Springfield. I highly recommend Leslie Brown.

Leslie has been my family attorney for 14 years. She explains my options and has guided me thru dozens of court appearances, both as a plaintiff and defendant. Her calming ability, even during emotional considerations was greatly appreciated. Leslie is fair and works in the best interest of all involved family members. She is a five star attorney and I recommend her strongly. Alan S.

Attorney Brown had her hands full with my case!!! My husband wanted EVERYTHING including alimony!!! He would NOT settle. My divorce ended in trial. Attorney Brown was so well prepared and ready to fight. She spent countless hours with me and on her own to prepare for trial. In the end... after a year of court dates and appointments with attorneys, I am happy with what I was able to keep from my marriage and I feel like I gained a friend. She was wonderful!!!

My case was unusual, but Leslie handled is with tremendous professionalism and a "common sense" approach that really helped me in the long run. She suggested a Guardian Ad Litem and even found the perfect one for our situation to suggest to the court - best money I ever spent. Ultimately, it was the GAL's report that moved things along, prompting my extremely unreasonable ex to settle. Because of Leslie's hard work and dedication, never again will I need the signature of an unstable man to make legal decisions for my child. As far as fees are concerned, from what I've seen of other attorneys in the area and all the legal disputes I've had with my ex in other states, attorney Brown is very reasonably priced. I would recommend her to anyone going through custody or divorce issues!

Leslie McClellen Brown is an amazing lawyer. She did so much for me during my recent divorce. She kept me informed at every step. Everything I had questions about she adressed and gave me a say in how I wanted things to go. I truely felt like I had a friend by side through the whole process. There were many curve balls thrown my way during this as can be expected during a divorce, but with Leslie's expertise and calmness mixed with some strong determination to do what is right, everything worked out fine. Divorce is s confusing and very complicated process, so I would enthusiastically recommend Leslie McClellen Brown for her expertise and compassion and professionalism.

When I needed A lawyer, I got a great reccomdation from a seasoned South Hadley Detective. He told me to call Leslie McLellan Brown. I have depended on her for the past 8 years. She has protected me in the court room with her great knowledge and expierience. She has also taken on the role of guardian and bodygaurd. She freed my children from an abusive situation, for which I will always be in her debt. I have reccomended Leslie McLellan Brown to 2 other families. She is tough and knows her way around the court.

I could not recommend a more heartfelt, caring, sensitive, intelligent lawyer. She worked with me through a very difficult divorce case in a truly concerned and sensitive manner. She is very clear and has many years of experience in knowing how to work with the other spouse's attorney as well as knowing what to expect in Court and how the judge will look at the various claims. At every step of the process she was able to guide both parties as to what was reasonable and what was not. When the opposing lawyer would act in an unreasonable manner, she always knew what would be accepted and not accepted by the Court. She was always strong and able to fight for what should occur. She always had the respect of the judge for her manner and demeanor, and the proceeding and decision went always as she said. I was always able to trust in her judgement and strength. She will always manifest the strength and will to fight for what is right in any divorce agreement or trial. She was always sensitive to the needs of the children in the family. She has strong ethical beliefs that guide her work. This allows her to be strong in what is right and to fight for what should occur. From what I witnessed, this has given her the respect of her colleagues and I feel judges. She was recommended to me by several attorneys. I chose her after consulting with other attorneys. Her billing was always fair. I've heard through other friends and colleagues, how every minutiae was billed by other attorneys. Attorney Brown only billed for what was "true" work done. Being an attorney was once a more noble profession. Leslie McLellan Brown belongs to the noble part of this profession. She truly honors her professional commitment to the fiduciary responsibility of acting with full trust and confidence on behalf of her clients as evidenced by her work in my divorce and with others that I know that have worked with her as well. I recommend her without reservation.

Leslie is an excellent advocate who has helped me with various family law matters. As my lawyer, she constantly kept me informed via email and mail. She is (and has been) very responsive to my emails and phone calls. She is a seasoned lawyer and very respected by all the Judges and the Court Staff. She is definitely an expert and can manage all types of clients. She is able to work with pro se clients and is very patient with opposing clients who are difficult to deal with. Because of her, the parties have more clarity and do not have to come back to court as often.

It is such a shame the way divorce lawyers take advantage of people during a difficult time. You would think that with Leslie's experience and the # of divorce cases she has had during her career that she would know the law by now!! She tried to tell me that I still had to cover medical insurance for my soon to be ex-husband once the divorce was over (NOT TRUE and I proved it to her by an email from my Employer that they do NOT cover ex-spouses) Leslie also MADE me hire a GAL which cost me an extra $2500 (each for both me & my ex so a total of $5k) which she didn't even use at trial (Must have been a friend of hers!) AND she also tried to tell me that I HAD to split my 401K 50% with my ex which I didn't think was right & fought it in trial and thankfully won due to a good judge that understood my case better than my own lawyer!!! So don't let her tell you what the law is, fight for what you think you deserve......the judge may surprise you. Take copies of your own paperwork or Leslie will charge you to copy and it's not cheap for her to run her photocopier and keep track of what you give her because she may ask again for it when she can't find what she needs. Oh yeah and let me also mention that I also receive paperwork regarding another case of hers so there was privacy breech also. Not worth the $15k but I'm happy that I did a lot of my own work/research and the judge got it!!!
