About
If you are looking for a way to do divorce differently in Pennsylvania then you need look no further. For 30 years, I have been working with families and individuals transitioning through difficult life changing events whether it is new marriages, separations, divorce, or custody or support issues. My true calling and passion has always been to be part of the solution rather than part of the problem. Where there is conflict I help mediate conflicting interests in such a way that everyone feels as if they have “won”. I do this by making sure that everyone involved feels confident that all of their own concerns and issues have been satisfactorily addressed and settled in a fair and peaceful way. As a result, I am able to cultivate in my clients a high level of confidence in my legal advice and skills. While I prefer to try to help my clients avoid painful court battles and minimize conflict in order to reach peaceful resolutions that will benefit them individually as well the whole family I can if necessary be a zealous advocate for my clients in court, I am a member of the bars of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, the Federal Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Supreme Court. I have been practicing law in Montgomery County and the surrounding counties since graduating from Villanova Law School in 1986. I began my career as a peacemaker, in 1992, when I became a trained mediator in the area of family law, having received my certification from the National Center for Mediation Education. In furtherance of my career as a peacemaker, I was appointed as part time custody conciliator for Montgomery County in January 2010 where I still currently serve to assist families to reach peaceful agreements rather than have their custody cases be resolved by judicial intervention. It is position I thoroughly enjoy. And while I have always sought to practice family law in a collaborative way, I have only just received my official certification as a Collaboratively Trained Lawyer in 2017. As part of my family law/peacemaker career, I have continuously refined and honed my people skills. Many people have often complimented me on my insightfulness. This expertise has very often allowed me to accurately and effectively cut to the heart of a matter as I have developed the ability to recognize and make use of the nuances of each case in which I am involved. These skills have also allowed me to put most people (whether clients or lawyers) at ease. I work to prevent misunderstandings by clearly stating the issues and the facts. I empathetically address all of a client’s issues and concerns. I work to diffuse possible issues of conflict before they arise. CURRICULUM VITAEEmployment:Present Positions· Lenore M. J. I have been completely satisfied w/the service I have recieved from Atty. Myers. Atty. Myers is highly qualified, empathetic, knowlegeable & will do EVERY thing in her power to get the result required by using the facts & the truth. I would highly reccomend Atty. Myers.
We consulted Attorney Lenore J. Myers regarding estate planning. She was extremely helpful in explaining estate planning and giving us excellent advice in this matter. We found her to be very knowledgeable and she is the person we would go to for advice on any legal matter.
I hired Lenore about 18 months ago after firing 3 other attorneys....the last of which nearly bankrupted me when he failed to file an appeal of an outrageous child support award. There are many attributes of Lenore that are really rare in divorce attorneys: * non-confrontational * high attention-to-detail * outgoing and friendly * reasonably rate given her high quality of service She handled my case with high level of professionalism. Lenore represented me at both a master's level and then a judge's level for equitable distribution. In both cases, she was well prepared and very convincing in these hearings...especially the latter where there were nearly 10,000 pages of documentation. She arrived at the court house with a luggage carrier holding nearly 4 FEET of documents ! Her performance was exemplary thanks to careful preparation. When the hearing was over, we walked out of the courthouse and she gave me a big hug as we said goodbye ! Now how often does that happen ?
Lenore has been responsive and empathetic to my case. She's both knowledgeable and thorough.
Lenore is a focused, dedicated attorney who applies the law judiciously. She is dedicated to helping people and has the utmost respect and concern for her clients and their families. I have personally known Lenore for several decades, hired her to help with my case and have referred her to many friends and family. Lenore will do whatever it takes to help you with your case. She personally cares about each and every one of her clients and fights hard for every one of them.
Lenore Myers has been my attorney for almost 20 years. She represented me in numerous Domestic matters including custody and divorce. Custody disputes can be very emotional. It was always a comfort to know I could depend on Lenore with confidence, never questioning her ability to interpret and apply the Law as it relates to domestic matters. You could not have more reliable counsel. Always shows up on time; well respected by her peers; very empathetic and savvy.
I had a custody conciliation and to my surprise Ms. Myers showed herself as a very disrespectful, ignorant, rude and heartless woman. Wishing her all the best and hope to never see her again.
Are you ready for a lecture about parenting? Because basically that’s all Lenore does. She will tell you that you aren’t a good parent, she will tell you all the mistakes you have made and she doesn’t want to hear anything anyone else has to say. She also doesn’t realize that divorce isn’t the end of the world.
She disregarded the information backed by professionals to support my child's needs. She also brought up her own child and style of parenting, which was irrelevant as no two children are the same.
Lenore serving as a court conciliatory isn't just laughable, it’s dangerous. There is an obvious anger towards men and disinterest in finding a common ground to resolve a matter, preventing a court hearing. It’s apparent that there is a personal issue that is impeding her judgement. This person has no business trying to mediate any matter. Period.
