Lee Ledet is an associate of Erlingson Banks, PLLC. A native of Thibodaux and a resident of St. Francisville, Louisiana, Lee earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in 2003 and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2010. Lee has successfully represented clients in both state and federal court. He has practiced before several Louisiana District Courts; the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana; the Louisiana Appellate Courts; the Louisiana Supreme Court; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He has also negotiated favorable resolutions for his clients by utilizing mediation and settlement conferences conducted before United States Magistrate Judges. Prior to joining Erlingson Banks, PLLC, Lee served as Assistant Attorney General with the Louisiana Office of the Attorney General’s Litigation Division, where he defended claims asserted against public entities arising under state and federal law; including, but not limited to: Civil Rights claims arising under 42 U.S.C. § 1983; Title VII employment discrimination claims arising under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, FMLA, and parallel state statutes; and IDEA claims. The son of a general contractor, Lee grew up in the construction industry and worked as a project manager in the residential and commercial construction industries prior to obtaining his law degree.
