About
Ms. Spero has been practicing law for five (5) years. Born in New Hampshire, she relocated to Boca Raton at the young age of five (5). In 2004, Leah graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Legal Studies. She continued her education at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center where she graduated in 2007 with her Juris Doctor. During her time in law school, she clerked for estate planning and probate firms, gaining valuable experience in this area of the law. In 2008, Ms. Spero moved to Tampa and began working in house for a large financial company in the area. She stayed with this company for over three (3) years and did some further work in estate planning and probate. Additionally, her duties there consisted primarily of contract drafting, revising, and negotiation. After this, she moved to a rapidly growing recruiting firm, where she worked for over a year in a similar capacity. During this time, she expanded her focus to include employment law, where she worked closely with HR to handle all employment related issues for the company. Even after leaving, she was asked to continue working as outside counsel for this company. Ms. Spero joined the Schuett Law Group primarily focused on pursuing non-standard BP Oil Spill claims and has proven to be a valuable asset in assisting clients with these types of claims. She continues to work as outside counsel for a variety of companies in the Bay area and looks forward to continued growth in this capacity. In her spare time, Ms. Spero enjoys travel, art, college football, exercising and musical theater.

Leah is very easy to talk with and gives things to you straight. Working in business, I know what I want but have very little time to understand all the nuances of the law. She explains it in an easy to understand fashion and has drafted and modified a plethora of contracts, including partnership agreements, confidentiality contracts, employee contracts, and individualized client agreements. Currently working as outside counsel for two of my companies, I plan to utilize her expertise on all future business ventures.
