Leah was my attorney and she did an awesome job representing me. I was in a family feud and my mother and sister gave a false story to the police against me. Their statements brought about felony charges against me from the District Attorney. Leah overturned every rock to punch holes in their story, convincing the court IN PRETRIALS that the story against me was false.... so I never went to trial and do not have a criminal record now. I went to about 9 or 10 pretrials and Leah made every motion under the sun on my behalf. It was frustrating for me that things seemed to be taking so long to resolve, but it turned out that all those pre-trials saved me the years of heartache and aggravation that could have come with a criminal record (or worse, with time in jail if I went to trial just to have the jury go against me). One factor that I think was important is that every judge we saw during the pretrials seemed to like Leah, and they always ruled in her favor... even on motions where it could have easily went against me. I saw many other cases go before the court when I was sitting in the courtroom waiting for my pretrials, and I quickly realized that you need a lawyer who knows how the court works. Don't try to "tell your story" if you are not a lawyer... that could be as bad as trying to do brain surgery if you never went to medical school. Just tell Leah the facts and trust that she can focus on what is important for the judge to hear. Court is no fun... good luck to you if you have to go before a judge. My advice would be to not talk to anyone if you are charged... just wait to talk to your lawyer and let him or her present the case. I really can't say enough good things about how Leah handled my whole situation. 100 out of 100 stars!

This attorney represented me very fairly going above and beyond what anyone in this arena has ever done. I was and, am fully impressed with Leah Metro, as an attorney. Leah Metro is and expresses compassion and a genuine concern for her clients. Leah is a very hard working diligent attorney that does not waiver. She is great when she is on your side, the benchmark of why you should be represented by this attorney. As I am aware, this attorney also practices in areas of divorce and personal injury as well. Of this I do not have experience, with my matters she created the best possible outcomes.
