She obtained her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Philosophy from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee in 2010. She graduated from the University Of Kentucky College Of Law in 2013 and is licensed to practice law in Kentucky.While attending law school, Leah worked at Harris Federal during her summers as an intern, and continued to work for the firm part time during her third and final year of law school, focusing on cases before the Merit Systems Protection Board. Leah assists federal workers with appeals to the Merit Systems Protection Board for federal disability retirement or adverse employment actions, obtaining schedule awards through the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs, and appeals to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission regarding illegal discrimination.
