I have dealt with many attorneys with different areas of practice and in several states. I have never met an attorney so knowledgeable and attentive. My first phone call to Mr. Orta absolutely astonished me with his ability to think outside the standard protocol of advisement. Most attorney's don't take the time to think of ALL possibilities. Like I said, I have never been so impressed overall. I will use him in every possible situation from now on. If you need someone for criminal defense or immigration law, this law firm is where to go.
Ok I needed lawyer after receiving a notice of warrant for my arrest for a ticket that I thought I had taken care of. Knowing my history with Arkansas police I didn't want to go to court without representation, I've made that mistake before, not only did Mr Orta answer his phone when I called, he met me at his office which is open later then most in Texarkana area! When I went to his office he was with a client that apparently did not speak English, apparently Mr Orta is fluent in Spanish which would make sense since he apparently handles immigration, as well as criminal defense. After just a few minutes of waiting on him to finish up with his previous client he came out and greeted me from his office and walked me back there. He was very friendly, answered all my questions, and told me what to expect. I paid my deposit and was advised that he would be meeting me at the courthouse the day it was set. He met me at the courthouse the day I was set for trial, and advised me of my options, as well as possible consequences. I liked the fact that he explained both sides to me and did not sugar coat anything, or promise anything he could deliver. He managed to get my fees knocked way down and get me a payment plan for the rest. I hope I don't require a lawyer again anytime soon, but if I do I know I will be going to the Orta Law Firm.
He wasted a year and a half of my time. Do not respond emails and phone calls. My case was so simple and I got my application rejected continuously for three times because of his carelessness. Please do not use him as your lawyer.
Mr. Orta has failed to answer any calls or e-mails that I have sent him over the past 4 months. I have gone to his office to speak with him in person and after waiting for an hour and a half he didn't say anything and just left to make another appointment. He could have saved the trouble of waiting by stating that he didn't have time. He has wasted two years on my case with no progress made since 2014.
