In the government contracts arena, Ms. Kramer represents government contractors in the full spectrum of litigation matters, from bid protests to internal investigations to contract disputes. She also advises clients on a variety of procurement issues including prevailing wage requirements, contract changes, the False Claims Act, procurement integrity and lobbying regulations. Ms. Kramer has substantial experience litigating before the General Accountability Office, the Court of Federal Claims, and various state and federal trial courts.Ms. Kramer’s commercial litigation practice focuses on breach of contract, fraud and trade secret disputes. She also has represented companies, directors and officers in federal and state securities class actions, shareholder derivative suits, and regulatory investigations, and regularly litigates harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination and other labor disputes. With her ability to quickly understand thorny cases and her significant trial experience, Ms. Kramer is able to efficiently and strategically drive matters forward and produce excellent results for her clients.As a former deputy public defender, Ms. Kramer represented hundreds of indigent clients through every step of the criminal justice system, from arraignment through trial. She also drafted and argued appeals before the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of California. In her current practice, Ms. Kramer represents individuals and companies that are the subject of a criminal investigation or have been charged with a crime, as well as third-party witnesses. Ms. Kramer currently serves as an arbitrator for the Attorney Fee Disputes Committee for the Bar Association of San Francisco.
