Lauren Leader is an exceptional, dedicated hard-working lawyer who has always gone that extra mile for me. Over the years, Lauren has assisted me with all my cases regarding my two children. Lauren has done an excellent job in not only fighting for me but also protecting my interests and rights as a divorced father of two. Even when we faced challenges, Lauren did not falter. I have always been able to depend on Lauren when I needed something. She was quick to return phone calls no matter what time it was. Without Lauren's expertise and dedication, I do not think I would be in a better place now with my two daughters and having to co-parent with their mom. My relationship with my children has never been better. I'd recommend Lauren and her law firm for any legal matters anyone may have.
Lauren E. Leader is a dynamic, top-notch lawyer. She handled my high-conflict divorce/child custody case with a remarkable level of attentiveness and knowledge. The divorce process can be intimidating and confusing; Lauren met each obstacle with confidence. Her tenacity helped me achieve the best possible outcome for me and my children. She is incredibly well-versed in all things divorce and family law. Her personable approach and trustworthy work ethic is noticed and respected by her peers- including attorneys from other firms. Lauren's legal team are equally as personable and professional. Lauren makes what is typically a stressful and emotional time, feel like you have a friend to walk with you each step. I have recommended her countless times. Don't gamble your life- trust Lauren to help you achieve a safe and secure future.
Divorce is (or can be) a lonely, scary place to be, but throughout this process, I have seen how Lauren Leader truly cares for me, my children and the outcome of my case. She logged countless hours prepping (for every motion but, especially, for my trial) and frequently collaborated with me. Lauren willingly, patiently listens to my thoughts and concerns and answers all questions in a timely manner. She always keeps me informed and tends to any issues that arise as quickly and as effectively as possible. James, McElroy & Diehl is a well-oiled machine. It is helpful to have so many qualified persons on staff to help with each case. Everyone is organized, polite and helpful. My lawyers, Lauren Leader and Beth Hondros, and their team worked tirelessly on my case in preparation for my custody trial and it showed. They were well prepared in court and extremely thorough. My case was attacked from many angles and they left no stone unturned. I would absolutely recommend Lauren and James, McElroy & Diehl to friends and family.
I paid Lauren Leader a $10,000. retainer on January 4, 2022. Lauren was unresponsive after I paid the retainer. On January 10, I finally reached her and was told that she had a family emergency the previous week because she was juggling childcare issues (I too worked full time and had 3 children and at no time in my 30 year career did childcare interrupt my professional responsibilities). I replied that I also had a family emergency the previous week, which is why I retained her. Bottom line, Ms Leader never filed the appropriate paperwork for the separation. I retained a competent attorney who did file the paperwork on January 19. In addition to no representation by Ms. Leader, I received a reimbursement check for $4,947.50. of the $10,000. retainer! For anyone reading this review, proceed cautiously with this Firm. You will be paying an initial $2,500. just to open the file, "$2.500.00 is a TRUE retainer, earned immediately by the Firm to induce the Firm to take this case and to reserve the Firm's services."
