Lauren was recommended to me by a close friend, who was also undergoing a divorce. Sublimely sensitive to my sometimes unspoken desires, Lauren crafted a divorce settlement (dealing with a very difficult opposite) that not only assured me of sufficient resources both to live in the present and ensure a future, but ensured my ex-wife was properly provided for per my wishes. Lauren's humanity was nothing short of uplifting during an additional and simultaneous personal tragedy. A final note...it was her level of compassion and empathy that reduced the inevitable hostility and paved the way for my ex-wife and my reconciliation.....so I guess you could call this an endorsement....

I hired Lauren Bynum in February of 2020. As of the beginning of March 2020 she had not filed any of the things I had asked her to do in my custody case. When I called and spoke with her about something that needed filed she said "Oh yeah I was going to do that"??? I would call to make an appointment and it would have to be for 10 or 12 days down the road. Emails went unanswered, phone calls never returned etc. She made it sounds great in the beginning that she would be able to help me in my case. She lied. After literally doing nothing for 30 days I demanded my $5000 retainer back. She gave me $800. When I consulted with another lawyer they looked in the system and said "Yes I can see where she went on the record as your lawyer and where she removed her self as you lawyer" There was NOTHING in between. In early April 2020 I was told that Lauren had accepted a Magistrate position on the bench. WHAT?? She NEVER disclosed to me that she may be ending her practice. Never. She let me sit there for 2 hours relieving a horribly abusive situation to fill her in on my case for nothing. Knowing the WHOLE time that she was not longer going to be taking cases. This entire process was such a horrible experience.
